Bernie Expects a Progressive First 100 Days Under Clinton Sanders was asked in what tangible ways he would press a Clinton administration to address progressive issues. He responded: "I just spoke to the secretary last week, and what she told me is that within the first 100 days of the administration, she would be introducing legislation and working with members of the Congress on a constitutional amendment to overturn Citizens United."

Shocking News: "Big" Jim Justice Was a Democrat As I sat and watched the governor of West Virginia, "Big Jim" Justice, announce he was leaving the Democratic Party, it dawned on me that the shocking news was that this guy was ever a Democrat at all. He reminded me of Boss Hogg, and I'm not teasing him based on his weight like Donald Trump did when referring to the "large news" he had to announce.

Bernie Sanders Surge Spreads to Iowa -- and Maine! Sanders has drawn over 25,000 people in the last week. I don't think any other Democrat in the race has drawn this many in the whole election cycle. It is very clear -- Bernie Sanders has launched a movement that traditional electoral campaigns might not be able to stop.

Bernie Sanders, Frontrunner While the corporate media wants you to still believe that Hillary Clinton is the frontrunner for the Democratic nomination for president, evidence shows the opposite. Bernie Sanders is the clear frontrunner and has the momentum to be our next president.

Take the Nukes Away From the Madman in the White House Neither Donald Trump nor Kim Jong-un should have access to the powerful militaries that they lead. Jong-un becomes stronger every time Donald Trump ratchets up the rhetoric. Sanctions and isolation are the right responses to North Korea. Threats and bluster only increase the chance that a catastrophic event will take place. We can no longer count on the current nuclear powers being sane enough not to use nuclear weapons.

Tell Wall Street Where They Can Shove Their Money I support major reforms to our political system, and maybe if the Democratic Party were no longer owned by corporations it could be a vehicle to implement those reforms. We need a Pro-Democracy movement in America, and Wall Street surrendering the Democratic Party back to the people would be a great first step.

Trump Puts Politics Over Health of the Nation Trump and the Republicans are having a difficult time coming up with a replacement for Obamacare. It was easy to repeal it over and over when President Obama was there to veto the repeal. Now the votes mean something, and Republicans don't have a viable replacement.

Stop Blaming the Russians We should thank the Russians and the women who are exposing Trump for showing us how bad our political system has become. We need to come together across ideological lines and agree on a system that will allow for real Democracy again. The system is corrupt, and it's not the Russians' fault.

The 2020 Race for President Has Begun It's just the beginning. We know that Senators Kamala Harris and Cory Booker, and the most speculated non-candidate of 2016, Senator Elizabeth Warren, may be sticking their toes in the water soon. And when since 1988 has former vice president Joe Biden not been rumored as a possibility? I still hope it's Bernie.

Democrats Emerging From Philadelphia Divided It is a time for grieving and healing in the Sanders camp. So many for the first time invested a part of themselves in a cause. They passionately believed in a cause greater than themselves and they still need to go through the grieving process. On with the revolution. The struggle continues.

Bernie Sets His Sights on Transforming the Democratic Party The battle for the soul of the Democratic Party has begun. If Hillary Clinton is smart, she will not attempt to stop Bernie's reforms. 2016 is about changing the status quo. If the political revolution is ignored by the party establishment in Philadelphia this July, many Sanders supporters will vote third party or stay home in November.

The Last Hurrah for Corporate Democrats We need to put our frustration behind us and do what is best for the Revolution and that is to build our movement to take over the Democratic Party while at the same time defeating the regressive Republican Party. No, Hillary Clinton is not a progressive, but she will not reverse the social gains that progressives have made in the last 30 years.

"Our Revolution" Will Transform America We will really shake things up in two years when we have built an independent political organization that will allow us to support progressive candidates all over the country. "Our Revolution" will help us build those organizations in our communities. Don't dwell on this election -- let's stay together and transform our country.

People's Summit to Dems: Follow Us The message we have to take from Bernie and Nina is to fight for the future and support the party that follows us! We don't need to follow a political party. The movement must continue to move forward and not wait for Democrats -- if they want our votes they need to open the doors and let us in to lead them to victory.

The Most Important Legislation of My Lifetime Single payer healthcare is morally and economically right. Only the insurance industry would disagree with that. What do insurance companies provide us anyway? An overpriced payee is what they are and all they are. They don't care about our health; they are designed for their own profit.

Without Super Delegates Clinton Can't Win Nomination Presidential elections are about the narrative. If people on the fence believe one side can win, they can make it happen. If the narrative is that a candidate can't win, it is hard to overcome. That is why the establishment media is attempting to sell the story that Bernie can't win.

Single Payer Healthcare Is Achievable Republicans are good at staying on-message and turning good ideas into dirty words. We need to do the same. We need to make greedy, for-profit insurance companies the boogeyman and convince people that the government can do a better job providing healthcare.

Bernie Is Pointing to a "New Way" -- Well, the "Old Way" Bernie Sanders is not proposing anything new. Bernie is trying to bring the Democratic Party back to its roots: The party of FDR and the New Deal, the party of LBJ and the war on poverty. It's time to be Democrats again and represent the people. As Bernie Sanders is showing, the people will reward the party that represents them.

Bush V Clinton II? In the latest CNN/ORC poll, 64 percent think Jeb Bush represents the past while 33 percent say he represents the future. It doesn't help that the team he has assembled to advise him on foreign policy includes George Shultz, James Baker, Michael Chertoff, Tom Ridge, Steven Hadley, John Negroponte and Michael Hayden. Oh, and did I say Paul Wolfowitz?

Donald Trump Can Win The Libertarian platform calls for eliminating Social Security and Medicare. How could any Democrat support that? I think Gary Johnson and Jill Stein have benefited from their ability to define themselves. Voters who don't want either Clinton or Trump are voting against the two party system and haven't really taken a close look at either candidate.
