Response To The President's Speech Regarding Gasoline Prices The President also emphasized that he feels our pain at the gasoline pump, but gave no indication that he would provide a gasoline "rebate payment" to any of our low income Senior Citizens whose present income is less than the Present Poverty Level of $20,000 per year.

Please keep in perspective that the reason gasoline is imported to Iran is that they do not have the refineries to refine their own gasoline because they are using most of their resources recently to develop nuclear weapons.

Gasoline Prices and U.S. Presidents Existing Emergency Powers The President has the sole power to release the National Oil Reserves if he should now choose to do so unless the oil corporation lobbyist should prevent him from implementing this form of action. Releasing the oil reserves would then reduce our present gasoline retail prices immediately.

THE Health Debate and the Proposed Insurance Exchange vs. The Public Option On Thursday March 3, 2010 the President announced his final decision in regard to the pending Health Bill provisions now before the U.S. Congress, but unfortunately their was no Robust Public Option Plan of any kind that was included in the President's announcement remarks.
