Contrary to popular assumption, the vast majority of these people are not Atheists, as they are rejecting religion, not belief in God/The Supreme Intelligence. Belief in God plus rejection of religion equals Deism.

Something Real to Celebrate December 25th Deists and all freethinkers often feel left out during the Christmas season. We don't buy the Jesus story. Thankfully we have something very real to celebrate that happened on December 25, 1776, the Battle of Trenton. This is the battle that saved the American Revolution from failing, and which allows us today to have, to a large degree, freedom of speech, etc.

Deism Can Put an End to Religious Misogyny Misogyny is morally wrong. It is also promoted by all of the man-made Abrahamic "revealed" religions. Recently a woman in Jordan, an Islamic nation, was beaten and had her eyes gouged out by her husband. The Quran claims God commanded Muslim men to beat/scourge women who they fear may become rebellious towards them. Deism can put an end to these harmful religious teachings, if given the chance.
