SHOCKING!! PAKISTAN'S MILITARY RULER IMPOSES MILITARY RULE! (AND WE DO NOTHING). The administration seeks in the Middle East and South Asia solely and exclusively to impose its will for its purposes regardless of the will of most of the citizens and regardless of the overall public good of the people. WE ARE ALL THE LEAST AMONG US With Bush denying health care to poor children while cutting taxes for the rich and funding war for energy, here is a meditation on the political imperative of assessing our leader's humanity the way Jesus advised he would assess his followers: By the way they acted toward the least among them.

The REAL Reason Bush and Cheney Will Not Face Impeachment The elitist corporate shills in Congress will never move to embarrass the elitist corporate shill in the White House. Clinton was a mild threat to corporate dominionists (think Mussolini's definitions here); Bush/Cheney are their wet dream.

Supreme Corp.: Limiting Punitive Damages When Corporations Kill The United States Constitution, former protector of individual rights, is again adapted to protect massive accumulations of wealth in non-human legal fictions called corporations. Fair warning: contains some, but not too much, legalese.

The Will To Be Bound Is All We Really Have In a government based on principles, the will to remain bound to them is all that protects the people's rights. Our government is losing (or has lost) its will-ingness. Do we have the will to insist they honor our social compact?

The War Powers of Congress Contrary to conventional thinking, Congressional excuses and Presidential and media blather, Congress has tremendous Constitutional power to impact the Iraq war and stop the "surge." Its set out here. Stop letting them get away with pretending they don't.
