America's Next Top Spin: "The sooner we defeat Al Qaeda, the sooner we can come home" Can you believe it? Bush's latest spin is that Al Qaeda has now overrun Iraq and we can't leave until it is defeated. What does THAT mean? That after four years of American occupation, Al Qaeda has spread through Iraq like a cancer? Geez Louise! We had better bring our troops home now before Al Qaeda spreads throughout the whole Middle East!

The Simpsons: Who will Homer & Marge vote for in 2006? Lisa gives Homer good advice on how to vote in 2006 -- but will Mr. Burns' influence-pedaling carry the day?

The reluctant tourist: Is going to Iraq the only way I can find out what's happening there? "Facts on the ground" are always a lot different than what we see on TV. Do I have to go to Iraq, Paris and DC to find out the real truth?

Attica & Munich: A tale of two SWAT teams Spielberg's new film causes us to ask once again -- in Munich and in Attica, who really killed the hostages? Probably government snipers....

Good advice for Neo-cons: Be the first on your block to turn State's Evidence! Be the first Neo-con on your block to become Andrew Fastow! Don't wait around to become Jeffrey Skilling. Who do you bet will be the first in the Bush bureaucracy to save his own hide and sing like a canary in order to avoid jail time?

Madame Jane Predicts: I WILL return from Afghanistan alive Is my dream trip to Afghanistan this week still on? With a stop-over in Dubai, the Las Vegas of the Middle East? And will I return alive from America's second most dangerous colony -- where over 500 people have been killed in the last few weeks?

Katrina fatigue: 7 months after Katrina, 2 months before the next hurricane While down in New Orleans for the AIM Sacred Run, I discovered that even though the Katrina disaster is far from being cleaned up, a new hurricane season is due. GWB had better start watching The Weather Channel!

Madame Jane predicts: The Fall of the House of Bush In my crystal ball, I see that George Bush will attack Iran, the resulting radioactive bunker-buster fallout will contaminate the entire world and Americans will forget all about bird flu as we struggle with lung cancer and mutated babies. And our George will go to jail forever. End of story. But what will happen to the USA after that?

Superman Returns: Has GWB just become America's Lex Luthor? As Chunky, Grace and I watched the movie "Superman Returns" tonight, I realized that the destruction Lex Luthor wrought on Metropolis will be coming our way too if GWB doesn't stop messing around with the Dogs of War in the Middle East.

Not fact-based enough: Why GWB won't be hired as an embedded reporter in Iraq I'm still trying to get embedded in Iraq but CentCom says no. "We are looking for factual reporting, not opinion-based articles." I guess that leaves out George "WMD" Bush and the New York Times! But the sad actuality is that the last thing in the world Bush wants is fact-based reporting. CentCom Iraq, you need me. Get me over there ASAP. I'll tell the truth. I'll help you guys to get home.

GWB's January 2006 State of the Union speech: A sociopath's dream... Bush's speech the other night was typical of him -- promise us anything but continue to lie, torture and steal.

2006: The year we lost our chance How much longer can Americans go on thinking that war is the answer to everything and still remain a democracy? Not very much longer. What will happen when even Diebold can't keep "liberals" from taking back Congress in November 2006? Will the neo-con war machine then turn on us too? Yeah. That's how those guys think.

Apocalypse or no Apocalypse: What if DC's Armageddon contestants have chosen the wrong case? The people in Washington DC who are playing the Apocalypse game -- with our lives -- are gonna be really surprised on Judgment Day when they finally discover that "God doesn't like ugly" and that they have been mislead by Satan. Too late! Playing God with others' lives is a definite Biblical no-no.
