Is Instant Runoff Voting Hurting Minorities in Takoma Park Maryland? The latest talking point of Instant Runoff Voting advocates is that IRV "can empower communities of color". Well "the truth is out there" right there in Fair Votes' own back yard. It turns out that Takoma Park Maryland, the home base for IRV, has Zero NADA minority representation.
