What impact will the massive destruction of evidence by Ohio counties have on the federal case charging criminal election fraud in the 2004 presidential election? Some, but the case is still viable. Devastating findings by researchers for the plaintiffs are reviewed and a motive the destruction is provided.

56 of 88 Ohio counties defied federal and state law plus a federal court order and failed to preserve election records from 2004. Their excuses range from "the dog ate my homework" or "the janitor did it!." It's a disgrace and recently elected Democrats, Attorney General and Secretary of State refuse to hold these county election officials responsible.

Hey, hold on there! Who says we have lousy leaders? Just about everybody. Between 40% and 60% of voting age citizens stay away form the polls in just about every election. In 2004, there were 221 million voting age citizens and 44 % of them, 98 million people, chose not to vote. Of the 226 million potential voters in 2006, a whopping 62%, 141 million people, stayed home.

The Money Party is a small group of enterprises and individuals who have most of the money in this country. They use that money to make more money. Controlling who gets elected to public office is the key to more money for them and less for us. As 2008 approaches, The Money Party is working hard to maintain its perfect record.

4. One day Congress was feeling so powerful it decided to trash the great protection against unlawful imprisonment, the writ of habeas corpus. This dates back 800 years to the Magna Carta. You can now be arrested without a charge, denied a lawyer, and held indefinitely. They said it's just for terrorists but they lied. As a special bonus, those torture techniques for terrorists can also be used on U.S. citizens. Taser alert!

He's not a good old boy that Bush can nickname and joke with over a long neck beer. He's from New York City, born in the Bronx, a committed intellectual and jurist, with an acerbic wit Is there any Bush appointee who matches?

The Bush-Cheney White House is responsible for the birth of a new constitutional doctrine. Bush has elevated himself to become a judiciary of one. When the president signs legislation passed by Congress, he frequently adds his own signing statement stating those legislative provisions he intends to ignore based on his interpretation of the Constitution. This caused the New York Times to note, "President Bush doesn't bother..

Only Four Weeks Left Until Sept. 11, 2007 - Should the General Struke achieve momentum and see hundreds of thousands, perhaps millions, "hit the streets," politicians will be faced with a real dilemma. They can continue to ignore, delay and dissemble, reaping the consequences in 2008. Or they can act promptly and effectively to satisfy the demands of the American public.

Electronic voting has stripped elected officials of the ability verify their own elections (even if they wanted to). It failed to address the real problems of Florida 2000 and the nation Were all these losses worth a few less than reliable, highly corruptible voting machines from third or fourth tiered technology companies? Take action on the latest findings that Election 2004 was a complete mess built on absurd assumptions: Bush had less rural votes in 2004 than 2000, 2 million less, but increased his big city vote share in 2004 by over 150%. He won it through "big city" vote gains. Give us a break!!! If they say 'get over it,' say: "A three year old major crime is always news until it's solved."

Did you know Bush had 2 million less votes in the rural sector in 2004 than 2000? Did you know that rural America contributed 16% of total votes in 2004 but 23% in 2000? Surely you knew that the "big city" voting segment was up 66% in turnout in 2004 and that Bush went from 26% in 2000 to 39% share in 2004? Bet you didn't know Bush took election 2004 on the basis of gains in the "big cities" (over 500,000)?

This is a big week for elections and voting rights advocates. In addition to being a huge political event, the activity surrounding the Holt Bill, H.R. 811, is highly symbolic,. The symbolism is that of diversion and denial. Holt is the apotheosis of the 2002 Help America Vote Act (HAVA). That nihilistic effort was supposed to take care of the problems of Florida in 2000. The shocked reaction to the abrupt dismissal of eight U.S. Attorneys points to the essence of our current political problems. The broad based political reaction to the Gonzales firings contains one critical assumption: this is an aberrant act. Something terribly wrong has taken place and the political establishment rises to defend the system. The system wasn't abused so much as exposed.
