We'll review the origin and evolution of liberalism, the meanings of the words liberal and conservative in the context of both the universal and American political spectra from reactionary to radical. We'll consider the nomenclature and its ambiguity, as well as the exploitation of this ambiguity to co-opt unsophisticates to facilitate a pernicious enemy, effect an invisible and bloodless coup, and steal their birthright.

These were the three great lies, that [1] government laws and regulations were excessive, onerous and needed to be reduced, that [2] taxes were excessive, onerous and needed to be reduced and that [3] government spending was excessive, onerous and needed to be reduced. There never was too much of any of these. And only corporate taxes and regulations and spending on citizens were to be reduced, and not for our benefit.

There has been a subtle, very well-organized, very effective, and unanswered propaganda war waged quite successfully against the left for decades now, one that has done considerable damage. Did they win the recent Supreme Court ruling because of the term, "partial-birth abortion?
Let's try to fight back.

Faith is antithetical to reason just as Christianity is antithetical to democracy notwithstanding religious apologists and revisionists claims that Christianity is the source of American prosperity and ascendance to world domination.
. Literally. Think about that for several minutes. Faith and reason cannot be applied at the same time to anything. They are like oil and water, but even more so. They are mutually exclusive.

"There seem to be at least three brands or branches of conservatism in current and recent American politics, only two of which are politically relevant at the moment. They lie, steal and cheat like pirates without the encumbrance of conscience. For you and me, such antisocial activity is considered a deviation from normal and subject to psychiatric classification, probably a personality disorder such as the antisocial personality disorder.
But can a whole political movement be considered mentally ill?

You knew that the ace in a pack of playing cards is both the highest and the lowest card in the suit. But did you know that it was originally only the lowest card that was later promoted to its place above the king following the French revolution. This was done in honor of the political promotion of the peasantry to equal status with aristocrats.
And that's not all.

The House Democrats have announced that they have taken impeachment "off of the table" in exchange for nothing in return. Mercy is not justice, especially when you are forgiving debts owed to others. And the Republicans do not deserve our mercy or compassion.

We knew all the while that we were advocating for the Democrats to unseat the Republicans, that it was a lesser of evils and just a stopgap measure We don't trust them, we just distrust them less.
So now what?

Yeah, sure, the Democrats are a sorry standard bearer for liberals and progressives, but if you think that they're no different than the Republicans, you couldn't be more wrong. Choose anybody else that can win for now, and if that means holding your nose and voting for a Democrat, do it.
