"Fatal pending" Errors in CA Voter Registration Database: "Oops, you're disenfranchised. Our bad."
TV news reporter discovers his voter registration is a "fatal pending" in the county voter reg database--which means that even though he's properly registered, the state database says he's not.
Reporter's initial survey shows at least 30,000 other California voters subject to delisting and disenfranchisement.
Think you're registered to vote? Better check.

Seeing Through Sequoia's Transparent Election System
The move to (partially) open-source software by E-voting vendors like Sequoia is a step in the right direction but ultimately it's the low-tech hand-counted paper ballot election methodology that's required to deliver the full transparency and public participation in the count that true democracy requires.
