I have been walking around doing magic for people since I taught myself close-up sleight of hand illusions, the hardest type of magic, when I was six years old (1954). After achieving very high marks in high school science I considered studying Einstein's work in Physics at Princeton or MIT, but chose Chemical Engineering Rocket Propulsion science by invitation from Penn State University at the start of my senior year in high school(1965). But due to my love of radio, after one year I switched to Radio and TV Broadcasting, helped run the college radio station WDFM (the first FM stereo station in the world), and was an intern in 1968 with Group W Broadcasting at KDKA, Pittsburgh (the first radio station in the world), which led to a job on graduation as Promotion Director of an NBC TV affiliate WBRE-TV, Wilkes-Barre (the first color TV station in the world). At 21 years old, I was the youngest TV PD in the world (1969). But after one year I went back into radio and helped start up three of the earliest FM progressive rock FM stations (KTCL-FM in Fort Collins Colorado in 1974, KZEL-FM in Eugene Oregon in 1975, and WEZX-FM in Scranton in 1976. Each of these became the #1 stations in their areas while I was there, Discouraged by the politics and instability of working in radio I began to perform magic as a living in 1978, after a meditating vision I had in 1972, that I would meet the Dalai Lama in the Pacific Northwest, which I did when I drove to Seattle, got out of my car and met him, during his 1st visit to the United States in 1979.

I'm now 63. Over the years I've performed magic and put a smile on the face of over 1.5 million people along with many famous people, such as Ken Kesey, Tom Robbins, Buckminster Fuller, The Lone Ranger, and Alan Alda, the Grateful Dead, among many others. I met The Dalai Lama 8 times after using ESP to find him. I plan to write a book about ESP. I have used my ESP abilities to predict 15 earthquakes, lightning about to hit me (so I jumped up in the air) and the eruption of Mt Saint Helens (so I canceled my weekend camping trip).

I have been standing up for the rights of performers and public for last 20 years after I was arrested in 1993 for making a kid a balloon animal and teaching myself Constitutional Law in the Seattle law library. I have had seven cases so far against the City of Seattle for denying performers for First Amendment rights of expression on public property, prevailing in all. My latest case was heard in the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals where I prevailed (Case: 9th Circuit Berger vs. City of Seattle, 569F.3rd 1029 (9th Circuit 2009). One of my pro-bono lawyers, Robert Corn-Revere, got Lenny Bruce a posthumous pardon. I need to find people who care about the Bill of Rights and help me as the 8 year battle gave me overwhelming depression and financial problems. Use Google to read up on my 1st Amendment rights fights.

I am mad as hell, and I am not going to take Mitch McConnell anymore. Mitch McConnell, the Prince of Fools, is quoted today as saying, "we shouldn't base our energy programs on what happens in Japan".
