The foremost of these facts is that we can no longer permit the Federal government to spent 53% of our taxable revenue for military spending, Homeland Security, and the many intelligence agencies that in a large part duplicate each other's work. 53 cents out of every taxable dollar goes to these endeavors. This takes away from fixing our crumbling infrastructure, educating our young people and paying off our debt.

What I didn't like about Bernie Sanders, was the fact that he never mentioned cutting the defense budget and using that money to finance all the things he espoused during his campaign. To me, he still represented the Washington that I have come to know and despise.

I believe that the Occupy Movement should re-emerge. This country is no longer ours. It's being run by people that could well be sociopaths. I'm ashamed to be an American. I have my passport and I'm ready to bolt. Things are getting out of hand here in America and I feel that I should add my voice of dissent.

Our government should be concerned with the people it governs. We should protect our nation. That doesn't mean that we have the right to invade our citizen's personal freedoms and to subject our citizen's to unwarranted searches and seizures because of their political or religious beliefs.

This isn't a president this is a dictator. In fact, the whole country is fed up with both Congress, the executive branch, and the judiciary. That is our entire federal government as laid out by our Constitution.

Since 9/11 we have vilified Muslims. We have waged war in Iraq, Afghanistan, Libya, Sudan, Somalia and now in Syria. It isn't just the United States, France was one of the countries that provided aircraft to bomb Libya and sent their Army into Mali. It seems like it is a free for all in the Middle East and Muslim Africa. If you are Muslim, you are a target.

Unless this government is willing to come to terms and look for other ways out of this financial crisis such as stopping these wars of aggression and holding corporations to the same standard it holds its citizens insofar as taxation, I believe that the government is not looking out for the welfare of the people. We have a right to act accordingly.

Now, this morning we learn that Gen. John Allen, the top American commander in Afghanistan, was under investigation for having sent x-rated e-mails to Jill Kelly, the volunteer liaison person for the Tampa-McDill Area, and the same person that originally went to the FBI that launched this entire investigation. General Allen was in line to become Supreme Allied Commander Europe.

How often are we going to allow the American military to act as the world's policemen? In the long run, we stand to gain nothing from interfering in the politics of Libya. This will only turn out to be another in a long list of military attacks on sovereign nations.

The people in politics and the media like to call it "spin". That's another way to say propaganda without offending anyone's sensibilities. They call torture "enhanced interrogation". They call those who fight against Western domination and imperialism "insurgents". When they resort to violence against out interests they are called "terrorists". When they act on our behalf they are called "freedom fighters".

I'm glad that everyone is finally waking up to the fact that we hear things there just not true coming from social media. My wish is that people would start talking about how we hear things that are also not true coming from all media and in reality, also coming from our own government.

For some unexplainable reason, many people on the planet absolutely hate us. I'm sure that it is all a mistake. Once people from other nations get to know us, they usually end up loving us, even asking America to build military bases on their soil to protect their citizens the way we protect our own. In fact we have 724 military bases in other nations:

Today we watched as Occupy movements in Oakland and New York and many other cities that have Occupy groups finally moved on the encampments. Most of these cities had their Mayors participate in a conference call on Tuesday. They seem to have come up with a unified response to the Occupy Movement. All I can say is that these measures are pointless.

Saber rattling is not the way to go on this. I understand that we don't want North Korea to have nuclear missiles that can destroy bases in Japan and eventually they will be able to hit our West Coast. You must offer the North Koreans a way out of this,

There are movements in other States in support of Wisconsin. Union members that aren't even members of the public sector are supporting the demands of the public employees in Madison. There is a good reason for this. After the public sector's right for collective bargaining is trashed, the Republican's will be coming after the trade unions.
