Faith Carr is an old, retired political activist. Started backyard farming for REAL in 2006. And for the first time we ate out of the gardens for all 12 months. The mission now is to get as many people growing food as possible. Raised beds, containers, or in the dirt. We're building food security in our community. Might be a good idea if ya'll got on that too. Come the revolution, I'll bring the eats.

Those who make peaceful revolution impossible will make violent revolution inevitable. An article in the AARP enewsletter got me started. "Should You Stash Your Cash" My post there was, well, unwelcome.

Some Things I'm Really Pissed Off About The biggest thing, the most overwhelming thing? There is absolutely NOTHING we can do about it.. Except of course for a good old fashioned rebellion. Imperialism and empire end only one way. And that's very very messy. My hands are very dirty. Let me know when ya'll are getting it together.

It's Time to Make Them Afraid of Us, Again. We're just peaceful, well informed American Citizens that have given up trying to "work within the system". The system doesn't work for us anymore does it? And we need to know the individuals that sign the paychecks for our government so we can target them for some "reform"-

Who and What We Are Now It is time to shrug off our preconceptions of ourselves as Americans. We are a new people. And it is best to admit it to ourselves, and the world who we have become.

The 2009 Spring/Summer Garden is Done Come the end, the last breath, the final rattle of life. I'll not be asking for more. Tomorrow, I'll rise before the sun. Read a few chapters of my latest library book. Feed the doggies, refresh their water bowl, watch the chickens scratch a bit while my coffee brews. Then start the day anew. A day like yesterday, and the day before. And a tomorrow that is sure to come.

You Don't Have to Wake Up and Smell the Coffee We've lost more ground that I ever thought possible. But didn't we know, in our deeply cynical hearts, we were just blowing in the wind? We had more than a "clue" you betcha! But it was the only game in town and we wanted to roll the dice one more time.

4th and 40th Anniversary of STOP THE WAR! NOW! I'll know. I will have done the best that I knew how to do. I will be able to mourn the loss of each life Iraqi, American, British, all of them, dead or wounded, with a clear honest conscience. I saw a holocaust and tried to stop it. Would that we all could say the same.
