Bush And Kerry Are Sitting In A Tree Though Kerry refuted President Bush's last speech regarding his policies in Iraq, he agreed with Bush on a fatally flawed point: that American actions did not cause the previous terrorist attacks against us. This point must forever be challenged history for our future's sake.

Hey Hill, Wasn't Bill The First Bush-Lite? Though initially repulsed by the Bush-lite label from Obama, there are multiple reasons why Hillary should embrace the description rather than run from it. Not only that, she should complain that Obama is not Bush-lite.

Should The Eagle Be A Symbol For A Christian Nation? Unfortunately, many American Christians embrace the Eagle as a national symbol. How To Encounter Patriotic Counter-Demonstrators Before responding to the taunts of patriotic counter-demonstrators, antiwar protesters should think about the following. First, we should think about what we have in common with the counter-demonstrators. Second, we should think about the how we differ and identify their logical errors. Third, we need to remember where we are lest we discredit ourselves in how we respond to them.

Listening Is Patriotic Too! One of today's national debates is on whether supporting the troops or dissent is patriotic. But there is another act that is just as patriotic. That act is listening. Listening is Patriotic because it allows us to fully benefit from the 1st Amendment.

Unhappy 4th Anniversary to the Iraq War This 4th anniversary of the Iraq war should cause us to reflect on why we have both started and remain in this war. Faulty reasons why we started the war included acting on available intelligence and liberating Iraq. Faulty reasons why we remain in Iraq include the price of failing and how it might both help our enemy and hurt American prestige. Therefore, we should continue to protest until the war is over.

Lead, Follow, Or Get Out Of The Way: Aggressive Driving And American Foreign Policy Our attitudes towards our aggressive driving habits can explain our attitudes towards our foreign policies. Just as we deny the effects of our aggressive driving habits so we can feel free to drive as we please, we do the same with our foreign policies. We need to change and take responsibility for our actions to avoid hurting others and ourselves.

Why I Hate "24" I hate the show "24" because of how the hero, Jack Bauer, resembles the way Americans wish to see our nation. As our nation behaves as this TV character does, it endangers its future.

Why Being Pro-Life Should Include Being Pro-Palestinian Pro-lifers seek to protect the unborn because they believe in the equality of all human life. A consistent belief in the equality of all human life would then require one to be pro-Palestinian as they seek to have their own state.

What The Foley Scandal Can Teach Us About Terrorism As horrible as the Foley scandal was, perhaps we can use the experience to help us understand and better react to other problems. This can be the case when we apply what we know about Foley's abusive behavior and abuse in general to how we should confront terrorism.

Breaking The Two Party Addiction Our democracy is ruled by a two party system that is designed to limit our choices. Thus our leaders and candidates neither listen to the people nor work to provide real solutions. Our only hope of changing our government is to work to create more choices by electing third party candidates.

What Would Jesus Say At The UN? While Presidents Bush, Chavez, and Ahmadinejad gave UN speeches that praised themselves and condemned their enemies, the world came no closer to peace. Jesus' parable of the two men praying contains a lesson that if practiced by these leaders, could bring the world closer to peace.

Betting On The Ceasefire Despite the claims to the opposite, there were no winners from the latest Lebanese-Israeli war. There were lessons to be learned that could prevent future wars. Otherwise, because of technology, there will be a future war that will destroy us all.

Is America The Home Of The Brave? Some mistakenly think that we can measure America's courage by our willingness to fight. But such courage is vicarious valor because the only ones showing bravery are our troops and their families. For America to show that it is the home of the brave, we must be willing to change. Changing how we vote by voting for third party candidates is one way to show our courage.
