This article compares and contrasts the character of Trump and actions he has taken with the character and actions taken by Al Gore and John McCain. A question of honor and honesty that other public figures have exhibited, but that he does not. The likelihood that he would encourage violence by his followers (as he has already done) simply to stroke his own ego.

Bush's hubris and sense of personal, imperial entitlement. Bush, like Hitler, believed he was chosen by God to lead his country. Why then have things gone so badly for him? Why then has virtually every decision he has made been the worst one possible?

In 1974 Republicans put country before party and forced their president to resign. They did what was right. In 2002 Democrats, many against their better judgment, did the popular thing not the right thing by supporting the invasion of Iraq. Today's spineless Republicans are doing what the Democrats did in 2002 by not standing for what is right. They will pay for it at the polls in November or we, as a country are doomed!!

In America our motto is In God we trust, but what do our self-professed Christian leaders and most Americans really trust to keep us safe? Is it God, or is it the superiority of our weapons in both their number and in their power? Is it God, or is it our ability and eagerness to make war, our unequalled capacity to kill and destroy?

Hitler, perhaps because he had been a poor student, mistrusted the intellect and despised intellectuals. Instead of seeking the approval of intellectuals, he crafted his message to appeal to the people's emotions and instincts.

Hitler's seemingly miraculous successes in restoring the post WWI German economy resurrected the people's feelings of pride in their nation. His resultant nearly godlike status enabled him to misuse the people's feelings of patriotism and nationalism to embark upon an expansionist, imperialistic path.
