Phony GOP Meme of the Moment: 'Gas Prices Have Doubled Under Obama!' Uh, well, not really... Claiming that "gas prices have doubled under Obama" is as dishonest and disingenuous as claiming that they have fallen under Obama because of his energy policies. After all, prices have fallen from the all-time high they were at under George W. Bush to what they are today.

Previously Legal WI Voters Turned Away at Polls Tuesday as GOP's New Photo ID Restrictions Begin Legal and Constitutional challenges to these new voting laws around the country, as passed by Republican legislatures and governors in the wake of the 2010 election, are working their way through the courts on behalf of those who are likely to be disenfranchised by them.

EXCLUSIVE: Virginia Officials Confirm Criminal Election Fraud Investigation of Gingrich Campaign It appears entirely possible that the likely 2012 Presidential nominee for the Republican Party, Mitt Romney, is, himself, a voter fraud criminal, even as his current alternative-of-the-moment, Newt Gingrich, faces a confirmed criminal felony investigation for some 1,500 acts of ballot petition fraud in his own home state of Virginia.

Alvin Greene Was Here: 100% Unverifiable Statewide E-Voting in SC's 2012 GOP Primary whatever the state and media tell you are the results of the election -- no matter how "unexpected" those results may or may not be -- will most likely be the results of the election, whether they actually reflect the way voters attempted to vote or not.

Santorum 'Wins' Iowa, Everyone Else Doesn't With his "victory," Romney, seems to have failed to even reach his own 2008 Iowa numbers. Then, when he came in second, he had 30,021 votes. Last night -- a full four years and who-knows-how-many millions of dollars later -- Romney's total was almost identical, at 30,015. He fell by a total of 6 votes from four years ago. 6 votes.

Paper Ballot Op-Scan Election Results Flipped After Recount Finds New Tally 'Extremely Favors Opposite Candidate' It's unlikely that voters in any of the elections held on those systems will see ballots actually counted by human beings prior to "winners" and "losers" being declared on Election Night. It's also extremely rare that hand-tallies will be carried out afterwards or that elections results will be allowed to be overturned thereafter, even in the event that mis-tallies are discovered.

Dirty Tricks in WI: Deceptive Absentee Ballot Mailers Appear to be Coordinated Hoaxes Election integrity groups are hoping to take proactive action next Tuesday to attempt to oversee the election in a state with an election system which is not particularly easy to oversee. while most of the voters in the state are allowed to use paper ballots, those ballots are counted by computer and computer only. There is no inspection of paper ballots to ensure that the computers have tallied them correctly.

Everything You Need to Know About Obama, The Brad Blog Already Told You in 2007... President Obama has been forced to deal with an unprecedented extremist GOP willing to use terrorists tactics to get their way, creating phony "hostage crises" time and again--in the latest episode putting a gun to the head of the world economy. But negotiating with terrorists only ensures the likelihood of the bad guys taking another hostage in the future, which the Republicans have repeatedly done, and will continue to do.

Good News for Constitutional Conservatives in Two CA-Related Court Rulings, But Very Bad News in WI Wisconsin's state Supreme Court Tuesday reinstated Gov. Scott Walker's plan to all but end collective bargaining for tens of thousands of public workers. On the very same day the court decided officially to accept the case, they also issued their verdict. It was a largely predictable one, with all four Republican appointees on the court siding with Walker and the state GOP.

Tale of the Tapes: Wisconsin's 'Dog-and-Pony Show' Faith-Based Supreme Court Election 'Recount' As if the opened ballot bags, missing and scratched-out serial numbers, and mis-dated poll tapes aren't enough, the minutes from the "recounts" in three different cities in two different counties have revealed that the so-called "Voter Verifiable Paper Audit Trails" on touch-screen voting machines didn't actually print at all, because the paper rolls were inserted backwards.

U.S. Chamber of Commerce Thugs Used 'Terror Tools' for Disinfo Scheme Targeting Me, My Family, and Other Progressives The revelation of terror tools used so brazenly against political opponents in the private corporate sector is disturbing, to say the least. While the notion of paid political operatives subversively using social media to discredit opponents has long been suspected by many, here we have evidence that these tactics are, in truth, fairly common among those who can afford to deploy them.

McGovern to CNN on WikiLeaks' Assange: 'You Should be Following His Example' Since Assange has not been charged with anything remotely akin to "terrorism", nor has he like, ya know, a terrorist, either killed someone, tried to kill someone, or even advocated killing anybody --- unlike many of those who have advocated killing him.

CASTLE DEFEATS O'DONNELL IN DELAWARE! But the point here is: Who knows? Absolutely nobody does. I don't. You don't. O'Donnell doesn't. Castle doesn't. The State of Delaware doesn't. Even the manufacturer of the e-voting system, Danaher/Guardian, would be unable to prove who actually won or lost the race one way or another.

The fallout from Promoting Janet Napolitano Mark Crispin Miller adds: The election reform movement in AZ has lately made great progress, against all odds and with great hardship. (Two months ago John Brakey was hustled off to jail in Pima County, for insisting on his right to monitor the handcount of some ballots there.)Any further progress will be blocked, and all that recent progress could be nullified, if Brewer becomes the Queen of Arizona.

Take Them Out of Service NOW Now, finally --- and thankfully --- we have a report of voters experiencing votes flipping from the Republican candidate John McCain, to the Democratic candidate Barack Obama in a second TN county. Does this mean someone can actually take some action to get these machines the hell out of service now?!
