This 9/11, The Beatles and Tikkun “Our deepest choices are between hope and compassion. Hope is not a feeling or a state of mind, but an abiding choice you make because you have faith. Faith is supposed to change things that look impossible to be changed. Cynicism sees the world as it is and gives up trying to change it. Cynicism is a buffer against commitment.

THAT DAY, This 9/11, FOX and Bob Dylan "His voice and lyrics haven't always been easy on the ear, but throughout his career Bob Dylan has never aimed to please. He's disturbed the peace and discomforted the powerful."

"Our problems stem from our acceptance of this filthy, rotten system"-Dorothy Day The problem is NOT Christianity! The problem is that too few who claim to be Christian, have actually done what Jesus taught and modeled with his NONVIOLENT life. Lately I have been accused of being "to hard on the church" but my issue with the institutional churches is that too many are more about socializing, NOT much about the social gospel and then there are those that even 'worship' the State.

I hear dead people talking Physical work is hard. Mental work is harder. Spiritual work is the hardest of all for it is a solitary suffering that requires an endurance that can only be fueled by a burning love for God and God is within All. "And, in the end, the love you take; is equal to the love you make." -The End by The Beatles

The 64th Anniversary of USA Terrorism Enlightened by the Wisdom of Nonviolence This August 6th and 9th mark the 64th anniversary of the most brutal acts of terrorism upon innocent people; America's atomic bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki. "We live in a world of nuclear giants and ethical infants, in a world that has achieved brilliance without wisdom, power without conscience. We have solved the mystery of the atom and forgotten the lessons of the Sermon on The Mount."-Gen. Omar Nelson Bradley, '48

Why eileen fleming is no longer a Feature Correspondent for The Palestine Telegraph "Cowardice asks the question, "Is it safe?" Expediency asks the question, "Is it politic?" And Vanity comes along and asks the question, "Is it popular?" "But Conscience asks the question "Is it right?" "And there comes a time when one must take a position that is neither safe, nor politic, nor popular, but he must do it because Conscience tells him it is right."-Reverend Martin Luther King, Jr.

Agitating for Freedom: Anniversaries, Dreams and Persistence "If we wait for it to work itself out, it will never be worked out! Freedom only comes through persistent revolt, through persistent agitation, through persistently rising up against the system of evil." Martin Luther King

The Magdalene, Antichrists and 'Christian' Zionism 2,000 years ago, females were not even called as a witness in court, but every July 22, Roman Catholics, Lutherans, Anglicans, and Orthodox Christians celebrate the feast day of Mary Magdalene, who according to the Gospel of John, was the first witness of the Resurrection appearances of Jesus.

To All the Sharp Dressed Soldiers Shipping Out "As I write, 4,000 newly arrived U.S. Marines are trudging through the blistering heat of Helmand Province to push back the Taliban so local Pashtuns can turn out to vote next month for Karzai, their fellow Pashtun. What's wrong with this new Obama strategy?"-Ann Jones, author of Kabul in Winter

Letter from USA in spirit with HUMANITY The FreeGaza21 have already issued many statements and written letters from Israeli Prisons that give voice to the spirit of and for Humanity. The FreeGaza21 inspired me to re-read "Letter from a Birmingham Jail" a scalding critique of American Christianity that Reverend Martin Luther King addressed to his "Dear Fellow Clergymen" who had abandoned him.

SECURITY and Loose Canons All that remains of the Orwellian "PEACE BE WITH YOU" sign on the Jerusalem side of The Wall that is choking Bethlehem are a few tatters at the top edge of the thirty foot high concrete edifice. The Israeli Minister of Tourism is replacing the image captured on the cover of my second book with bland views of the Old City.

Gross asked, "Is this Government now, directly or indirectly, subsidizing Israel in the payment of full compensation for the lives that were destroyed, the suffering of the wounded, and the damage from this wanton attack? Were these Americans the victims of bombs, machine gun bullets and torpedoes manufactured in the United States and dished out as foreign aid."

The Jewish State VS Mordechai Vanunu: A Case of Christian Persecution On April 10, 2009, Vanunu said: "I was walking here this morning and a car drew slowly up alongside me. There were four men in the car wearing sunglasses. One of them shouted at me...the car followed me...the man call out again in Hebrew. 'You are garbage.'" What happened to Jesus and what's a Christian to do with it? "You might own guns and you might even own tanks...you might even own banks. But you're gonna have to serve somebody. Well, it may be the devil or it may be the Lord. But you're gonna have to serve somebody."-Bob Dylan. "Everyone in the world knows that Jesus and his teachings were non-violent: except Christians."-Gandhi Jesus' NONVIOLENT responses to evil were never passive!
