He is the author of The Bottom-up Revolution; Mastering the Emerging World of Connectivity

He's given talks and workshops to Fortune 500 execs and national medical and psychological organizations, and pioneered first-of-their-kind conferences in Positive Psychology, Brain Science and Story. He hosts some of the world's smartest, most interesting and powerful people on his Bottom Up Radio Show, and founded and publishes one of the top Google- ranked progressive news and opinion sites, OpEdNews.com

more detailed bio:

Rob Kall has spent his adult life as an awakener and empowerer-- first in the field of biofeedback, inventing products, developing software and a music recording label, MuPsych, within the company he founded in 1978-- Futurehealth, and founding, organizing and running 3 conferences: Winter Brain, on Neurofeedback and consciousness, Optimal Functioning and Positive Psychology (a pioneer in the field of Positive Psychology, first presenting workshops on it in 1985) and Storycon Summit Meeting on the Art Science and Application of Story-- each the first of their kind. Then, when he found the process of raising people's consciousness and empowering them to take more control of their lives one person at a time was too slow, he founded Opednews.com-- which has been the top search result on Google for the terms liberal news and progressive opinion for several years. Rob began his Bottom-up Radio show, broadcast on WNJC 1360 AM to Metro Philly, also available on iTunes, covering the transition of our culture, business and world from predominantly Top-down (hierarchical, centralized, authoritarian, patriarchal, big) to bottom-up (egalitarian, local, interdependent, grassroots, archetypal feminine and small.) Recent long-term projects include a book, Bottom-up-- The Connection Revolution, debillionairizing the planet and the Psychopathy Defense and Optimization Project.

European Borders have Been Incredibly Fluid-- Suggesting Nation-based Self Identity is Silly It's worth a viewing to see just how fluid the borders have been. To me it suggests that it is silly to self-identify with a specific nationality or to engage in nationalist exceptionalism.

The Senate is Constitutionally Lethally Flawed-- Here's A Small Fix The Senate is a constitutionally created lethal flaw in Democracy. The idea that a state with under a million citizens gets two senators-- the same power and influence as a state with ten, twenty, even forty million people is not right. It allows the ultra wealthy and small powerful groups to acquire power to influence the policy of the United States. This problem could kill democracy in the US. Here's a small improvement

The DNC Superdelegate Rule Change Is Not Enough YES, the new rule is a positive step. But unless the superdelegates are given a rule that declaring their backing of a candidate before the second convention vote will cost them their superdelegate status, the mainstream media will act exactly as they did in 2016 and the new DNC policy will be toothless and ineffectual.

Trump Can't Have A Dog Barack Obama had some really sweet dogs in the White House. I'm pretty sure Donald Trump or his son Baron will never have a dog in the White House. It's not that he doesn't like dogs. It's not that he doesn't have the time for dogs.

Pelosi Must Put Impeachment on the Table & Trump Appointees Must Be Voided It is time. Trump is now an un-indicted co-conspirator in what amounts to one of the highest crimes in the nation-- corruption of an election for president. It is now absolutely necessary to begin impeachment proceedings in the House against Trump and all his lifetime appointees. Every candidate for congress should be forced to take a stand on impeachment-- Democrat, Republican, Green and Independent.

Trump Supporters Worth Talking to There's a good chance there will be a big blue wave this fall-- a massive repudiation of the Republicans who are supporting Trump. It will happen because some Trump supporters will vote against the Republicans who support him in lockstep. Those Trump voters who are getting disgusted, those who are at the bleeding edge of Trumpism, are the ones worth spending time talking to.

Apple's Value Tops $Trillion: Why It's Bad Apple's corporate value just passed a trillion dollars. Only sixteen nations in the world have a GNP greater than a trillion dollars. I have nothing against Apple. I use a mac notebook. But no company should be a trillion dollars big. There should be federal and international laws making it illegal for a corporation to get that big, just as I've long written, there should be a law making it illegal to be a billionaire

Trump's Iceberg of Scheming and Evil Explicitly and overtly, on the surface Donald Trump is, perhaps the worst presidential criminal, the worst presidential liar, but also the most repetitive and prolific liar, again, perhaps, in history. But that is all what we are being allowed to see. We can be one hundred percent certain that it is but the tip of the iceberg, that Trump is criminally, predatorily and unethically using all the resources at his command:

How will YOU De-colonize our world? Colonization is invasion and subjugation of indigenous people, and includes Genocide, says, Michael Yellowbird, Ph.D., co-author of For Indigenous Minds Only and Decolonizing Social Work, a professor and director of the Tribal Indigenous Studies program at north Dakota State University. "Colonization means loss of culture, lands, rights, marginalized status, being forgotten in national narrative.

Dangerous EU Regulation Threatens Future of the Internet; Could Be An Act of War A European Union committee has recommended that a regulation be put in place that would stifle a huge portion of the functions of the internet. This idea is clearly inspired by corporate interests but its effects would be so devastating to the use of the internet as we know it that it amounts to a fascist attack against the bottom-up democracy, freedom and re-distribution of power that the internet has brought to the world.

Harlan Ellison, SF/Speculative Fiction Writer Dead at 82, with quotes I was not a big fan of Ellison, by the seventies I'd decided he was a bit too smarmy and cynical for me. You might also frame him as acerbic. But reviewing collections of quotations by him, he was clearly brilliant and highly quotable. Here are some nuggets I've selected:

Is Ocasio-Cortez Win a Black Swan Event? Nassim Nicholas Taleb's hugely successful book argues that black swan events often play major roles in history, citing 9/11 and the invention of the internet as examples. I believe it is reasonable to characterize Ocasio-Cortez's win as a black swan event. That means that it could play a major role in history. It could open the sluice gates to Berniecrat victories and defeats of old-school Clinton DLC corporatist Democrats.

Hillary's Lesson to DNC; Time For Nancy Pelosi to Go Die-hard Hillary supporters, will not be able to see the truth-- that Hillary lost because she was disliked and mistrusted by massive numbers of people. But there are millions who know the truth. Pelosi may hold the DNC and Democratic members of congress in thrall, but she is an anchor, weighing down the candidates running for office this fall.
