more detailed bio:
Rob Kall has spent his adult life as an awakener and empowerer-- first in the field of biofeedback, inventing products, developing software and a music recording label, MuPsych, within the company he founded in 1978-- Futurehealth, and founding, organizing and running 3 conferences: Winter Brain, on Neurofeedback and consciousness, Optimal Functioning and Positive Psychology (a pioneer in the field of Positive Psychology, first presenting workshops on it in 1985) and Storycon Summit Meeting on the Art Science and Application of Story-- each the first of their kind. Then, when he found the process of raising people's consciousness and empowering them to take more control of their lives one person at a time was too slow, he founded Opednews.com-- which has been the top search result on Google for the terms liberal news and progressive opinion for several years. Rob began his Bottom-up Radio show, broadcast on WNJC 1360 AM to Metro Philly, also available on iTunes, covering the transition of our culture, business and world from predominantly Top-down (hierarchical, centralized, authoritarian, patriarchal, big) to bottom-up (egalitarian, local, interdependent, grassroots, archetypal feminine and small.) Recent long-term projects include a book, Bottom-up-- The Connection Revolution, debillionairizing the planet and the Psychopathy Defense and Optimization Project.

The Lesser Evil Won, Now Get to Work, Set an Intention and Deal with The Cancer On Democracy We Are Living With
Sure, you're happy, thrilled, overjoyed. Of the two evils you felt you had to choose from, the one who was the lesser of the two evils, by whatever parameters you measured, has won.
Let's be clear. having chosen the lesser of two evils, we've moved towards more evil.
It's not all your fault, having participated in the process. It's a dirty, ugly, broken system.
Hurricane Sandy Freezer Wisdom
I was telling a friend about how I was throwing out pretty much all the food in the fridge and a lot of the food in my freezer, after three days without power.
She said I should ask her 86 year old aunt Bea.
So, today I get a call that my friend spoke to Aunt Bea.
Her freezer wisdom advice--
Book Review: Presidential Puppetry: Obama, Romney and Their Masters by Andrew Kreig
Read "Presidential Puppetry: Obama, Romney and Their Masters," a book just published this week by OpedNews contributor Andrew Kreig. and you'll learn a lot more than you could have imagined, and you'll start seeing the world, politics, and the justice system in a very different, clearer, smarter way.
This book exposes the puppet masters who pull the strings of leading officials in both major U.S. parties, including Obama
Movie Review: Cloud Atlas-- Superb Movie with Strong Political Values Message
Cloud Atlas is an extraordinary, revolutionary movie, the best one I've seen since Avatar, a truly different approach to movie-making. And the message it sends could make the right wing hate it, so don't be surprised to see really negative reviews. Some will be based on politics.
Strictly entertainment-wise, it had me literally sitting on and gripping the edge of my seat.
Ohio Needs International Election Observers
The 2012 election, like the 2004 election, will come down to Ohio.
Ohio has a criminal history of stealing election. Criminal!!
It is essential that many, many international election observers come to Ohio to observe elections, particularly in areas where there are many African Americans and students.

What if We Always Called Mitt Bishop Romney? It Could Be a Game Changer
Anyone who has a question about the effect of Romney's having been a Mormon Bishop for over ten years should refer, should ALWAYS refer to him as Bishop Romney. It could be a game changer because it will make the majority of voters who are unaware of this aspect of Bishop Romney's background think through the implications and possibilities.

God Narrates New Obama Ad
One of the new ads from the Obama campaign has a former god as narrator. Oh, and he's also a former president-- of two countries... and a murderer.
Book Review: Days of Destruction, Days of Revolt: Chris Hedges and Joe Sacco
This is a brilliant, historically informed, first person observation and analysis.
The partnership of Hedges and Sacco works beautifully to describe and portray the disintegration of the US, as it shovels more and more Americans into third world, even slave status.

How Romney's Echo Chamber will Spin the Debate
I'm writing this before the debate. Here's my prediction, not for the debate, but how Romney supporters and their media echo chamber will spin it:
Ryan: A Weak, Minor League Teacup
Paul Ryan accused the Democrats of making the US appear weak. But his performance in the face of a tough talking, aggressive grownup was weak, minor league, a frail teacup totally outmanned by a grizzled battle cruiser.
Not surprisingly, the right wing's punditocracy attacked a Democrat acting strong.
Paul Craig Roberts Interview Transcript Part 2; As In The Rome That Became a Dictatorship, So In the USA
Paul talks about how, similar to what happened as Rome transformed from a Republic to a dictatorship, the US is going though a similar process--"you know they used war, the war on terror to negate the Constitution, to get rid of all the" protections like Habeas Corpus, due process. They used it to get rid of the fact that Bush committed felonies by torturing people...." Series: Rob Kall Interview Transcripts (103 Articles, 300062 views)

Jeffrey Toobin: How Romney vs Obama Will Change the Supreme Court
The composition of the Supreme court is one of the big arguments for voting for Democrat Barack Obama.
But last night, I asked Supreme Court expert Jeffrey Toobin, author of the new book, The OATH, about how the court would change if Obama or Romney were elected. The answer was a bit surprising.
A Letter To A Tea Partier-- Seeking Common Ground between Tea Partiers and Progressives
I received an email titled: Tea party Multi Email No. 48
Every now and then, I check out the opposition and see what they're talking about.
This particular email surprised me. There were a number of topics where there seemed to be agreement between the tea party and progressives. So I wrote an email to the sender. Here it is:
Double Down Mitt" or Just Mitt the Unfitt
It looks like Mitt Romney has developed a pattern in his responses to gaffes. He doubles down.
This has happened again and again and again--- on accusations about distorting or lying on Obama and loosening Welfare rules, on the attack on Bengazi, on his "inelegant" attack on the 47%.
Doubling Down has different meanings.
Respond to Right Wing Job Lies With Bottom-up Tax Cuts and Quitting Global Trade Agreements
Right wingers like to talk about lazy people who don't work, who take welfare, and suggest that they leave the country. Well, these simple folks have things a bit confused. I straighten them out and offer some suggestions that just might get Democrats who are not sold-out corporatists some real traction among independents and small business owners. Mitt Obamafied Photos-- Non-Verbal Facial Expressions Can't Lie
Listening to the pundits, like Joe Scarborough, describing presidential candidate Mitt Romney, as amateur, thinking about my own take that he's not cutting it, I took some of the photos I took of footage of Romney at the RNC convention and processed them with the Hope Poster app on my iPhone.

Anti Muslim Hate Video Goes Hyper Viral in 24 Hours
The anti-muslim hate video that has set the Muslim world afire with protests has gone hyper viral, with a jump of almost 1.4 million views in just over a day and it could hit five, even twenty million views. It could become one of the most viewed videos on youtube ever.
911-- They Won
Eleven years after the attack, the US has clearly become far worse because of the attack-- far worse than was necessary, far worse than it could have been.

Obama Has a Bounce. So what?
It's a bit confusing though. Why? Well, there's a part of me that wants the Democrats to hold on to the White House. But then there's another part of me who knows that having the Democrats in the White House will make the anti-war movement impotent and give Obama more room to go after Whistleblowers, torture people and cut more globalization deals that are bad for the middle class.
#DNC2012 Favorite Quotations

Searching for Buzzwords to Describe Republicans; Revisiting 2004--
SFgate.com columnist Jon Carroll says, "The cacophonous right wants to use buzzwords and flash phrases to obscure the nature of the debate. It wants us to be ashamed.
How about some words that will nail the right wingers' hides to the dung heap wall where they belong (or post office wanted posters.). Series: Framing, Language, Buzzwords (10 Articles, 44131 views)

Romney Campaign's Rove Strategy With Eastwood as Metaphor
This campaign cycle, the Karl Rove approach-- "attack the opponents' strengths" is being taken to a new level. The Romney campaign is attacking truth and reality with lies and la-la land.
Dems Spent $1.5 Million to Help Akin Win. Did GOP Do Same?
The Democratic funders who put $1.5 million into helping Todd Akin win the GOP primary in Missouri have surely struck gold. Akin has become a huge albatross for the national GOP, as well as at a local level. One has to wonder if this is a single case or if this kind of cross-funding of races by opposing parties goes on more often.

Corporatism is Killing America
Corporatism is waging war on the middle class, on the American dream and on most Americans.
There is a massive difference between mega-corporations and small businesses. The big ones and their obscenely wealthy CEOs, owners and top execs are waging an all out war on the middle class. They are pushing for laws, legislation, regulations and de-regulations that will kill people. KILL PEOPLE. Series: Corporatism and Corporate Personhood (20 Articles, 98315 views)

Do You Think Obama Was the First to Order Assassinations?
I kept having this repeating dream that someone had to revise some file on the internet-- an article or something-- then, afterward, would be killed. This seemed to go on for hours.
Finally, I got up out of bed and a thought dawned on me. First, was that this dream was probably primed by the movie. But then, the big realization was that Obama's decision to kill Americans extra-judicially, without justice, without judges...
Are Republican Governors Ready to Kill Tens of Thousands to Placate the Tea Party?
Kill is a strong word. It's my word, not the word of a source or researcher. But it's the word that came to mind when I read reports of a Harvard study, reported in the New England Journal of Medicine. The study reported that there was a greater than six percent decline in death rate in states that expanded Medicaid.
The Specious, Stupid Arguments Against Gun Control
I am calling out all the gun control opponents with empty, unsupported, vaccuous, specious and flat out ludicrous arguments. Get real and get solid arguments already. Your lame, weak excuses for arguments probably don't even convince your fellow gun ownership advocates.

Keep The Paterno Statue But Change the Message
Joe Paterno's life has become a blot upon the history of Penn State, my undergrad Alma Mater. It might be easier to remove the statue altogether. But it would be even better to keep the statue and change the message.

Romney and Surrogates Counterattack-- "Obama Outsourced." The Problem Is...
Obama is being attacked by Romney and his GOP surrogates who accuse him of using TARP and other US funds for outsourcing. There's little truth to it, but underneath it all, there are still ugly problems that hurt the future of the US economy.

Next Step for Post-Revolution Egypt; Trash the Top Court Judges
Egyptian president Morsi took a bold move, ordering the parliament back in session. It's a good first step. Now, he must throw out the mubarak appointed judges of the top court. And the American media ought to stop siding with Islamophobia over democracy.
