I have been involved with OEN for almost ten years. It was not only one of the first progressive news sites it is one of the purest. Without mentioning any names, many sites which were once progressive have devolved to sensationalist news that is neither progressive or necessary to know. In their greedy quest for clicks they sink to levels that we used to associate with tabloid journalism. This includes sexual mongering, "believe it or not" news, "watch" stories and coverage of invective between politicians. It is an insult to the intelligence and our politics. OEN has resisted this trend
