Founder of the miniprotesting strategy for curbside activism which puts a trio of people on three consecutive street corners. In the center of each is someone holding at waist level, eye level for motorists, a 30" x 40" main sign. The three main signs have a running message like the old Burma Shave rural roadside ads of the '50s and '60s. With 90 people you have ten separate "protest strings" stationed at bogged down commute arteries all across town. Having a focus, showing a developed, supported message, has more potential to influence than a large group without an identifiable, cohesive focus. And since even large groups rarely get on TV anyway, why not connect directly with as many people as possible? See more on Facebook at Miniprotesting and BGA HQ. BGA stands for Back Glass Activism. It uses inscriptions you print out and put inside your car's rear window with a two-part message such as: "Racism is Cancer of the Soul. Everyone Has the Cure if They Have the Courage and Humility to Choose It."
