Pat Dazis lives in Charlotte North Carolina. She is the mother of five children and grandmother of 6 beautiful grandchildren. Her 12 year old grandson Chris was murdered by his biological father and stepmother in California in 2002. She is on a crusade to bring awareness to the plight of children locked in homes where there is no safety and no love.
Her first priority is to get the Child Abuse and Neglect Reporting Act in each state amended to include Apartment Managers, starting with California. She is starting there because that is where Chris died of injuries so severe as to have been equated to a traffic accident by the judge who presided over the murder trial of his killers. This abuse happened over a 4 day period in an apartment right next door to the manager.

Apartment Managers Should Have Duty to Report Child Abuse In August of 2002 my 12 year old grandson Chris Cejas was murdered in Sacramento by his bio donor (I cannot call this man his father after the terrible things he did to Chris) and his stepmother Kathryn Potter. Both were found guilty of murder. Cejas was sentenced to 75 to life for murder, Potter to 15 to life for second degree murder.
