Brought up in Hong Kong, at the Kowloon peninsula, the Land of Nine Dragons, and indoctrinated by a prestigious all-boys Catholic school, the author muddled through university in Canada, and inadvertently stumbled into the television business. He reluctantly became a pioneer of Chinese language television in Canada, which means that he gave up living like a normal human being for more than 15 years. Circumstances took him to China during Chinese New Year of 1981, letting him experience China when it first opened up to the West. The author was in Hong Kong during 1997 around the time of the handover of the British colony back to the government of the People's Republic of China. That historic day spelled the end of the British Empire. The author decided to stay and witness first hand the Rise of the Dragon. While in China, the author was involved in broadcast technologies, market development for a German toy company, and importing French wines. He is currently retired and wielding the pen in Canada. His first book is titled 'Heart of the Dragon - The Oracle'.
