Joining Russia's Fast-Growing Economy Could be Good Move for Crimea Ukraine is the country with the lowest growth rate of any post-Soviet Republic, and Crimea is one of its poorer regions. Russia has been growing 2.5 to 3 times as fast as the EU, and 5 times as fast as Ukraine. With the EU doing such a poor job for its own people, can they help Ukraine, let alone Crimea?

Debunked: the State Department's Little List of 10 Lies Against Putin on Ukraine The US State Dep't posted a hit piece called "President Putin's Fiction: 10 False Claims About Ukraine" on March 8th. Here we refute the US regime's own lies made in that article, with a bonus 11th point: the sniper provocation that toppled Ukraine's government has all the marks and motives of the opposition and US neocons. This was a fascist, oligarchical coup, and Russia is well within its rights to reclaim its territory.
