Kettle O'Reilly Advises Baldwin's Pot

This morning, our Looking Out For Us savior gave Alec Baldwin, he of the phone harassment heaped upon his eleven (or twelve) year old daughter, his unsolicited advise on how he should handle his PR response to the public airing of his divorce angst. Of course, the first thing Bill O'Reilly did was tell the Folks that Baldwin was "over" and "done." That's the least of Baldwin's problems as Bill has a habit of installing the "done" tag on so many people who aren't. Bill suggested that Baldwin admit that he made a mistake and make a large donation to some child health charity. I don't know if that advice is so off the mark as much as I'd like to know if after Bill phoned to sexually harass his young female producer, did he make a large donation...other than the one he had to make to his accuser go away? Did he send a large donation to Women Against Abuse? Certainly Bill's family was hurt by his "mistake." Did he send a large donation to Irish Family Services? I can't be sure, but some of Bill's fans must have grandaughters the same age as Bill's victim and were emotionally-damaged by word of their hero's libido-driven infidelity and abuse. Did he send a large donation to AARP? Now, Bill may have made donations to every one of those worthy organizations. After all, he is known to make charitable contributions (certainly he spends a lot of time telling us he does). But so has Baldwin. My question is, did Bill actually make a donation somewhere to repair his public persona or to mend a personal hole in his soul. If he did and kept it quiet, then to suggest Baldwin do it to repair his public image doesn't play. If he didn't make that donation, then perhaps Bill should reconsider giving anyone else advice he doesn't take himself. Either way, for Bill O'Reilly to give anyone counsel on how to handle a family and personal matter is a farce. Then again, isn't most hypocrisy?
