The three suicides there shouldn 't surprise anyone. Prisoners (enemy combatants) are tortured. Despairing and hopeless, they aren 't allowed to see evidence against them nor do they have the right to challenge their imprisonment.

As the Bush Administration ratchets up the power of the Pentagon to train foreign militaries, the war drums beat louder and louder. Countries with nuclear weaponry will move into defense and, then, offense mode. Countries without this power will seek it.
