Macbeth visits the Holy Land: Zionists with 60 years of blood on their hands?

How can someone like me even begin to explain to Zionism's American cheerleaders that they have been supporting three generations of genocide in the Holy Land and that G-d doesn't like ugly?

It can't be done.

There's nothing I can say or do to convince rabid Zionist supporters that 60 years of butchery in the Holy Land done in the name of God might possibly be wrong.

"But the Nazis slaughtered the Jews during World War II," is always their answer. "We are doing this so that it will never happen to Jews again." Oh yeah? Does that mean that when Zionists started their notorious 1951 "Ringworm" medical experiments that permanently damaged 100,000 children, they were doing it to protect Jews? And these children weren't Muslim or Christian children either. These children were JEWISH children! Dr. Josef Mengele, Auschwitz's infamous Angel of Death, comes to mind -- only Mengele didn't do it on such a grad scale.

Guess what? Zionists don't give a flying fig about Jews. Like the Americans who blindly supported Bush's insane war on Iraq, the Jews are just more disposable pawns to be used in an old-fashioned game of King of the Hill. "Whoever has the most power and money at the end of the day is the winner."

"So. Jane," you might ask. "Why are you getting your knickers all in a twist about the Holy Land?" I'll tell you why. I'm leaving for a writing seminar in two weeks, I was given a list of seminar participants, I googled the names on the list out of curiosity and I discovered I'd be spending 18 whole days cooped up with writers who think that the Zionist take-over the Holy Land is a good thing. OMG! I'm supposed to be getting AWAY from politics and there I'll be, trying to keep my mouth shut about injustice in Gaza and Bethlehem over breakfast, lunch and dinner for 18 whole days? Yeah right.

I can see it all now. "Uh, er, the Holy Land? What Holy Land? Never heard of it!" Keep your mouth shut, Jane! If you want to get any writing done at all, DEFINITELY do not say anything like, "Are you referring to that place on the eastern coast of the Mediterranean that has resembled Rwanda, South African apartheid and the Warsaw Ghetto for the last 60 years? You mean the place where the seeds of the U.S.-Iraq fiasco were planted? The place where human beings are treated worse than animals -- supposedly in the name of the Jewish religion?" Instead I'll just smile, take another bite of oatmeal and say, "The Holy Land? Too controversial for me! What do you think about Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt?"

But if I WERE to take on the Zionists at the writing seminar, how would I go about changing their minds? By referring to the greatest writer of all time? Would they listen to Shakespeare? If I quoted Lady Macbeth's famous buyers remorse? That someday, when it is too late, they may come to regret that the blood of the Holy Land -- and of the whole flaming Middle East -- is on the Zionists' hands just as surely as Hitler has to answer to what happened in Warsaw -- and also in Dresden?

Will the Zionists' fan club listen to me? Will they believe me? Nah. I'd probably be better off talking about who will be going to the Superbowl this year.

But whether I talk about the Zionist disaster to the poor be-nighted souls at the seminar or not, the truth remains. Six decades ago, Zionists deliberately set wheels in motion in Nazareth, Jerusalem, Bethesda, Al Aqsa, the Wailing Wall, the Garden of Gethsemane, the Dome of the Rock, the Mount of Olives, the Church of the Nativity, Sarah's Tomb, Calvary and all of the Holy Land. And the resulting slaughter of three generations of Muslims and Christians there cannot be ignored -- or washed away. In 1948, Zionists brutally and deliberately destroyed 420 Christian and Muslim villages in the Holy Land, setting a torch to the entire Middle East. That's a lot of blood, Lady Macbeth.

PS: America has blood on its hands too. Journalist Nir Rosen has this to say about the Zionists' orphan step-child, Iraq: "There is no solution. We've destroyed Iraq and we've destroyed the region, and Americans need to know this. This isn't Rwanda where we can just sit back and watch the Hutus and Tutsis kill each other, and be like wow this is terrible should we do something? We destroyed Iraq. There was no civil war in Iraq until we got there. And there was no civil war in Iraq, until we took certain steps to pit Sunnis against Shias. And now it is just too late. But, we need to know we are responsible for what's happening in Iraq today. I don't think Americans are aware of this. We've managed to make Saddam Hussein look good even to Shias at this point. And what we've managed to do is not only destabilize Iraq, but destabilize Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Iran. This is going to spread for decades, the region won't recover from this, I think for decades. And Americans are responsible."

To paraphrase Lady Macbeth, "Who would have thought the [Middle East] would have so much blood in [it]?"
