For approximately the past year and a half there has been much lip flapping about illegal immirgration, its affect on us and what do to about it.

As strange as it may seem the outcry seemed to coincide with the March 2006 meeting between Bush, Fox (then President of Mexico), and Harper (then Prime Minister for Canada) where they agreed upon the Security and Prosperity Partnership of North America, which ultimately will eliminate the internal borders between the three nations by 2010.

Almost immediately following this meeting or agreements came the proposal of building a wall and tougher border security between the United States and Mexico. This got Fox's immediate attention and he got with his cohort, Bush, to protest such in view of their recently signed pact.

Consequently Lou Dobbs will continue to make money in authoring books, plus filling in needless space on his TV program. Bush continues to be oblivious to his deterrorating pyschosis, and the politicos continue to hedge the topic, for fear someone might ask them about the North American Union that is to happen in 2010.

Like all other "free trade agreements" this is being developed in stealth, contrary to anything resembling a democracy. The only candidate running for president that will even mention free trade is Dennis Kucinich. All others, who must be in favor of it, may be afraid to mention it because the international corporations for whom these agreements mean profits, will take away any campaign backing if they should come out against.

The North American Union, a term not yet used freely, is actually a NAFTA on steroids and we all know the failure of NAFTA as it relates to most citizens of all three countries. As is typical in all free trade agreements the people fall further behind in their struggles against poverty and the international corporations thrive.

The agreements, written by corporations, for corporations, actually supercede the Constitutional laws of the individual countries in which the agreement is between, thus the nations lose their sovereignty and become ruled by the corporations.

In the strictest of definitions one might say free trade is spreading fascism throughout the world - the New World Order has arrived and the people continue to sit idly by while the media - they are international corporations - continue with their diversionary "news" stories like illegal immigration, abortion, guns, the war of terror, or any other topic that will have two sides to debate in order to keep people busy in non-winning chatter while their democracy is stripped from them right from under their eyes.

Getting back to illegal immigration. The solution is moot as there are laws that would drastically curtail such an activity, but that would involve reprimanding employers who are benefitting greatly from this influx of workers who are willing to work for less than the middle class US worker, thus driving down labor costs. If, in fact, the laws were inforced employers would be heavily fined and even imprisoned for each occurance, each illegal they employ. All the Executive Branch would have to say is "Enforce the law" and much of the problem would be solved. Instead he sits by as officers who are actually trying to do something about it are imprisoned, and on the testimony of the individual they arrested.

Now the political chatter is more toward whether these individuals should receive amnesty - another debate to keep people busy. This, too, is moot as by 2010 there will be no internal borders.

The past couple of political debates have asked for people to write in questions through email, yet not a single question regarding the Security and Prosperity Partnership has been asked. Is this because the media wants to keep it in stealth, or the politicians?
