NY residents: Contact your election commissioners!

This week on Tuesday, March 21, the NYS Board of Elections will issue their guidelines for voting machines, and on Thursday there will be a hearing in the Justice Department lawsuit. While we're waiting for news of these important developments, take a minute to write or call our county election commissioners. Unfortunately, Dem Commissioner Reggie LaFayette has taken an unfriendly attitude towards the public, and Rep Commissioner Carolee Sunderland hasn't agreed to meet with us either. LaFayette has stated that they are the experts and the public has its mind made up. (Seems like it's the other way around.) They need to hear from us.

If there is a tie - if one county Election Commissioner picks scanners & the other county Election Commissioner picks DREs - no one knows how a tie is resolved. Supposedly, the State's Board members will review any material that will help them make a decision for that county - hopefully things like letters to the local commissioners, petitions, email submittals, testimony, resolutions, etc. That's why our letters are so important.
