The new data, available here for Iraq and here for Afghanistan show 73,518 American servicemen and women have been killed, wounded, injured, or fallen seriously ill in the two wars. In addition, at least 263,909 veterans of Iraq and Afghanistan have gone to the VA for medical treatment and at least 245,034 have filed a disability claim.
