I want you folks to be careful not to treat these political punches like you would have in school when you were just a kid. You know, two people were going to fight and one just stood there because they just don't like to solve problems with violence. You know the scene, you would watch with your friends and you'd either be the kid that said, "Get him, look, he wont fight back he is a chicken." Or "leave him alone, you're a bully." Just be careful to take note of where you are now on the human food chain. Animals fight, probably cause they can't talk. Make sure you aren't just standing on the sidelines of this elections looking for blood, we have the news media for that.
By the way, I went to school with that type of kid, the, shoot first and ask questions later person. What can I say. I had a troubled youth. But I will only assume that, because I was the type of person who stopped the fights. But also being the one that was beat up all the time. That I look at problems and issues a little different than most cowboys I know. Side note: All my friends that think or behaved that way, are either in jail or politics, I am not sure who I feel more sorrier for.
Top down bail out:
I understand through reading my news that this bail out might not start to take effect until November sometime. Can this cowboy throw away his rope for a minute, and pick up his crystal ball--and tell you when they might kick this plan into action? NOV 5th. That is, so all the promises which the side that looses made, will have a real obvious way to show us Americans they are a POOR losers. All of our politicians on that day will either get up and say " lets talk Americans" or they will say " Take backs on all I said." But if something concrete does not happen soon enough, us Americans (minus the big boys up in the air right now on Wall Street, ready to pull those rip cords on there golden parachutes), WE will be the poorest of losers for a long time coming.
I, like most Americans are not sure what is really going to happen with this bailout. Wait, now they call it a recovery plan. I would say with all the Katrina and natural disasters in the past years, the words bailout (Water) recovery(or lack of from our government), and plan (which we don't have until the damage is done), might not be the best way to market this 700 billion dollar . . . payday loan. We might want to call these recent efforts: the IOU plan, because we know we will be the ones paying the bill and our government will promise to pay it back, someday. It beats my first choice, which was called: The Wimpy plan, If I could borrow 700 billion now, the US Government will gladly pay you back on Tuesday, (April 15, 2100).
Just common sense tell me that if I had a bucket that was sitting in the midst of all this polluted fallout and it was catching all this dirty, stinky water, It would have a top layer of garbage. Now if I wanted to empty it, I would most likely punch a whole in the bottom of the bucket so I could drain all the good water first, you know, bail it out. That way all the bad stuff would not pollute the water below, but maybe that is just me. We already know what is floating at the top of this bucket. Americans just don't want it to splash over the edge and taint all the good that is left, if there is any.
