Who's Next on the terrroist watchlist?

Dear friends:

Please see the ACLU's quiz below about who is on the no-fly list, read that the FBI will not share information with the airlines about the names of real terrorists, and facts which will make your hair curl.

I suggest the solution to this problem is to write the airline industries, which will fold completely as the USA requires every traveller to wear the proposed electronic bracelet which will shock muscle systems and stun (all innocent, see ACLU's quiz) wearers into submission. If the airline industries abroad and nationally toppled the proposed CAPPS II passenger profiling system, then they will also topple this ridiculous and evil proposal on part of the Department of Homeland Security/Travel Security Administration (TSA).

Please take the quiz below emailed by the ACLU, copy the facts into your wordprocessor, then use them to compile a report to be sent to the airlines which they can use as basis for toppling the proposal requiring passengers to wear the electronic stun bracelet. It's a proposal which will topple the airline industries, those dependent on them, and which will block hte free flow of information from abroad to Americans and to America. This is unconstitutional and a way to control American thinking a la fascist style. Write this to journalists whose focus is on national news and on economic information, and blind carbon copy it to a list of proactive citizens, telling the news journalist that you are doing so and keeping an eye on whether or not they do a report based on the ACLU's information below. Let them know that you and the proactive list of citizens will be spreading word and thus, keep the pressure on the journalists to do a report, suggesting that the airlines get involved in toppling the matter.

That will be the end of this story, at least, though it will not prevent future ones from arising. The malicious intentions of our Government are clear here and the most urgently important thing we can do is to replace our fascist members of Congress while getting rid of others. Please help by spreading word about YOUR Congressperson's voting record----favorable as well as unfavorable-----to urge readers to vote them back into office or out of office, as the case may be. Why is 7-year-old John Anderson from Minneapolis on the national Terrorist Watch List?

1. He pushed Tommy too hard on the playground.
2. His July 4th birthday means he distracts other Americans from celebrating their country.
3. John didn’t pick up the blocks during playtime.

This ever-growing and ineffective Watch List demonstrates what's wrong with the U.S. government’s current approach to security: it’s unfair and a waste of resources. And when our government wastes time and money like this, we are all put in more danger -- not less.

The questions above might be light hearted, but the problems Americans face everyday due to overzealous security measures are real.

According to USA Today:

John Anderson of Minneapolis, [now 7] was first stopped at Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport in 2004, when his family took him for his first airplane ride to Disney World. "We checked in at the ticket counter, and the woman said in a stern voice, 'Who is John Anderson?' " says his mother, Christine Anderson. "I pointed to my stroller."

Her son is allowed to fly. But because his name is flagged, his family cannot print out a boarding pass for him online and he must check in at the ticket counter so an airline official can see that he's a child.
