populumpoetry="y">Attacks up and down, from all sides do I bear,
They gang up by cyber, by sea, land and air,
Like that C-virus coming around to my fief,
Quickly to lower my quality of life,
Or the New York Fed, a.k.a Grade A Sneak,
Is pumping up stocks to sell when they leak.
.
Grim China and Russia scarce trouble my days,
But the U.S.G. taxes much less than it pays,
All in the spirit of "a trill here, a trill there:
And pretty soon you're talkin' nothin' but air,"
For which you create a bunch of new money,
Which naught will serve but to wipe your nose runny.
.
From abroad they can read the writing on wall,
And no longer fear or respect us at all:
Iranians can pinpoint with missiles deluxe,
Kim J. builds nukes so that none with him mucks,
While yonder the Taliban kick Yankee ass,
Ten guys with a mule who victories amass.
.
Israel plays Mr. Prez like a fiddle,
And elections are always looking to diddle.
Iz doesn't bother with dumb Facebook ads,
But makes of our pols dedicated comrades,
Who step up to the plate for Bibi and Co.,
Who really don't care 'bout our treasure and woe.
.
Hence lately I'm feeling sore undefended,
Not even by global warming offended,
A person of non-interest at our D.O.D.,
Which has time for Houthis but no time for me.
T'is a question of time 'fore the fit hits the shan,
And then we're all left to make shift as we can.
