I'm all for protests. And I'm thrilled that there are protests, day after day, protesting police abuses and demanding justice and a safe world where blacks can go for a jog or birdwatching without putting themselves in danger.

But looting and destruction of property is not okay. I want to know who is doing the looting and the destruction. And I want them arrested.

People on the right are saying that Antifa is doing it. I don't believe that for a second. And I haven't seen one iota of evidence supporting that claim.

I have seen, an article, An 'ANTIFA' Twitter account that called for looting 'white hoods' was actually run by white nationalist group Identity Evropa

And the Nation reports, FBI Finds 'No Intel Indicating Antifa Involvement' in Sunday's Violence.

It makes a lot more sense to me that White Nationalists might be engaging in violence, than Antifa people, who are antifascist.

But I don't really think that most of the looters are either Antifa or white nationalists. I think they are local kids preying on the opportunity to steal. Or as some have suggested, they are gang members. Actually gang member violence and looting makes a lot of sense.

And there may be some protesters who are so outraged and disgusted by lack of progress that they are doing damage. And I think they are wrong.

The solution is to arrest as many of the looters and destructors as possible and then research who the hell they are.

I am very impressed how peaceful the majority of the protests have been. I'm very impressed by the massive turnout, day after day. And those looters and destructors are hurting the message and accomplishments of the protesters. They should be stopped. And they should be arrested.

What do you think?
