Myra Slotnick's petition, "We the People Demand a New Vote," states:

In light of recent evidence reported by the CIA, that the United States 2016 Presidential Election has been infiltrated and tampered with by the Russian government to elect Donald J. Trump, in collusion with the FBI, and abetted by widespread voting malfeasance and suppression, We The People of the United States demand a new vote on the 2016 Presidential election, to take place in Federal buildings, and overseen by the Federal Government.

Slotnick started this petition on Saturday Dec. 10. By the next day there were over 45,000 signatures.

It will be delivered to President Barack Obama, Loretta Lynch, the United States Supreme Court and the Federal Election Commission.

Our trust in elections has been shattered. Do whatever is necessary to restore our faith in US elections.

I am a patriotic American and expect my government to ensure a free, fair and secure election. The 2016 Presidential Election as it stands does not meet these criteria. Republic over party!

Every american's fundamental rights were not only endangered but undermined in this election. We must have free and fair elections. This is not a partisan issue.
