I "discovered" The Sane Progressive, aka Debbie Lusignan, a few weeks ago. It was in the process of my looking into the implications of Trump tossing Flynn under the bus, and replacing him with H.R. McMasters, a long time Russiaphobe and general idiot. Debbie did the most amazing job I could have possibly asked for, in terms of awareness of what's going on, and passionately--yes passionately!--tying the many dots together. Trump indeed caved in to the CIA, bigger bullies than himself and morons as grand (you know, tossing his one evidently good idea, namely getting along with Putin, out the window as this chickenshit crapped his pants).

Now we are pondering the implications of Wikileaks "Vault 7," that has truly left the CIA with it's pants MIA. Hey, not even any undies, figuratively speaking!

There were many articles here in recent days on this topic, by writers such as Normon Solomon, and Wikileaks itself. I will briefly say the implications are nothing short of astounding (and unlikely to be eclipsed, except for possibly a healthy asteroid or a few nukes), and will clearly be unfolding some time, if not the rest of our lives. And this is merely a scratch on the surface of what is to come...

Debbie points out in this 31 minute video what is going on, from both sides of the aisle, in what has become another "nonpartisian" event, a term coined by Dean Acheson that conveniently leaves out the citizens and undermines democracy (more on that when I finish the book recommended by PCR in his last article, by Lewis Lapham, calling Lapham's writing a cross between Twain and H.L. Mencken--which I totally agree with, at a third of the way in, The Age of Folly).

In my run for U.S. Senate against Utah's Orrin Hatch, I posted many progressive ideas and principles that I internalized over the years. I'm leaving that site up indefinitely, since it describes what I believe most members of our species truly (more...)
