whose policies mirrored those you would expect from a typical, radical
right-wing extremist such as his mentor, the Reckless, Feckless, Dickless
Cheney, the frustrated, impotent one. "Tricky Dick" really isn't a good
pejorative name for Cheney because long before he was president Nixon was a
primary character with McCarthy in commie baiting. Cheney never had a primary
role prior to 43's reign of error. Dickless spent so much time around the power,
but never being the power, that he must have felt impotent and when W asked him
to pick the vice president and Cheney came back with himself as the choice-and W
agreed, Dickless knew that the sky was the limit. They teetered around aimlessly
until 9/11 occurred because of their ineptness-the daily brief with bin laden determined to attack within United States should have been a clue, but these bozos swore that it wasn't. What about the scene years ago of big bro 43 begging the 9/11 Commission to allow his mouthpiece, Dickless, do the talking for him? There was no clearer example of Dickless being the power behind the throne than that.
The article "Key Iraqi Leaders Deliver Setbacks to U.S. Premier Rejects
Terms of Proposed Pacts; Cleric Reactivates Militia" at
states "after dealing with the predictable remarks that a nation striving for
its sovereignty makes against its occupier, the US, stated "Maliki's comments came as Sadr called for a new armed wing of his Mahdi Army militia to fight U.S. troops. Sadr had ordered the militia to cease carrying weapons last August-a leading factor in the recent decline in violence-although U.S. military officials have asserted that renegade militia units have continued the fight under instructions from Iran. Sadr aides, some of whom appeared surprised by the cleric's announcement, said he wanted to issue the order now to avoid seeming as if he was responding to a U.S.-Iraqi agreement if one is reached by the July deadline. Salah al-Obaidi, Sadr's chief spokesman, said the order was essentially a full-scale reorganization of the Mahdi Army, transforming it from a militia into a permanent peaceful organization with a small armed wing of several hundred or so members. He said the cease-fire for the rest of the movement would remain in force."
Big bro 43 has us in a war that has dragged on too long. Mini-me should
know about the futility of this type of endeavor. After all he was a soldier in
the last of our attempts to settle ages old hatred within a country-Vietnam, but his remarks don't correspond with understanding the
urgency to start a planned withdrawal now!
On June 11, 2008 Rep. Dennis J. Kucinich (D-Ohio) introduced 35 articles
of impeachment against President Bush, using a parliamentary maneuver that will
probably force a vote. He tried the same gambit last year against Dickless
because he was concerned the country would be worse off with the power behind
the curtain in charge instead of the visible titular leader. They have ruined
our constitution with illegal eavesdropping of US citizens, mocking Congress'
efforts to force administration crooks to appear before Congress, and cruelly
torturing detainees, but lying us into the Iraq War is the core of the
peace-loving Kucinich's impeachment. Democrat leaders know that they don't have
the votes for this to succeed, as does Kucinich, but he still had to make the
Every time you turn around something new is exploding on this crew that
is hopelessly playing out its string. This week the Phase 2 report regarding how big bro 43 lied his way into the Iraq war came out.
The June 6, 2008 article "The Propaganda Campaign Dissected" at
states "Yesterday's long-awaited Senate Intelligence Committee report
further solidifies the argument that the Bush administration's most blatant
appeals to fear in its campaign to sell the Iraq war were flatly unsupported.
Some of what President Bush and others said about Iraq was corroborated by what
later turned out to be inaccurate intelligence. But their most compelling and
gut-wrenching allegations-for instance, that Saddam Hussein was ready to supply
his friends in al-Qaeda with nuclear weapons-were simply made up. In an accident
of timing, the report also validates former press secretary Scott McClellan's
conclusion in his new book that the White House pursued a "political propaganda
campaign" to market the war."
Big bro 43's pack of thieves are caught in a lie so they walk right up to the
line of lying, but don't cross over as the article continues "The White House
response? That officials in Congress and elsewhere were saying the same things
about Iraq. Or in other words, that other people bought the administration line.
It takes a lot of chutzpah to defend yourself against charges that you've
engaged in a propaganda campaign by noting that it worked."
We were told that we'd be greeted as liberators and that the Iraq war would pay for itself as it above that sea of oil that Wolfowitz referred to. That latter remark seems to be a subliminal communication about "operation Iraqi Freedom" having an ulterior
motive of freeing that oil for the oil businessmen that dominated big bro 43's
administration. It didn't work and oil and gas prices are ruining our economy!
The article continues "Here's a statement from Democratic Committee Chairman Jay
Rockefeller: "Before taking the country to war, this Administration owed it to the American people to give them a 100 percent accurate picture of the threat we faced. Unfortunately, our Committee has concluded that the Administration made significant claims that were not supported by the intelligence. In making the case for war, the Administration repeatedly presented intelligence as fact when in reality it was unsubstantiated, contradicted, or even non-existent. As a result, the American people were led to believe that the threat from Iraq was much greater than actually existed.
It is my belief that the Bush Administration was fixated on Iraq, and
used the 9/11 attacks by al Qa'ida as justification for overthrowing Saddam
Hussein. To accomplish this, top Administration officials made repeated
statements that falsely linked Iraq and al Qa'ida as a single threat and
insinuated that Iraq played a role in 9/11. Sadly, the Bush Administration led
the nation into war under false pretenses. "There is no question we all relied
on flawed intelligence. But, there is a fundamental difference between relying on incorrect intelligence and deliberately painting a picture to the American people that you know is not fully accurate."
Wolfowitz admitted "For bureaucratic reasons, we settled on one issue,
weapons of mass destruction (as justification for invading Iraq) because it was
the one reason everyone could agree on." Big bro 43's goons knew the US populace
wouldn't agree to war unless we were imminently threatened.
We never before had engaged in a pre-emptive war. Big bro 43 had to sell
that cruel lie to the US populace also. We have to realize that the last time
Saddam Hussein used WMD was in 1991. Wouldn't his military be at a disadvantage
if they had not used these weapons for over a decade?
We've never seen any existence of Iraqi armed unmanned drones. They had
drones that were capable of unarmed reconnaissance, which is the kind of parsing
of each word that big bro 43 wants to get every person involved in when dealing
with his pack of goons.
The article continues "Writes Senator Russ Feingold: "Even the deeply
flawed October 2002 National Intelligence Estimate (NIE) did not support the
claims made by the President and the Vice President regarding an Iraqi nuclear
program. That NIE assessed that Iraq did not have a nuclear weapon or sufficient
material to make one, and that without sufficient fissile material acquired from abroad, Iraq probably would not be able to make a weapon until
2007 or 2009."
The article then enumerated lies by big bro 43 and Cheney including, as the article continues "And, on the eve of war, after the IAEA had reported that its inspectors
had found 'no evidence or plausible indication of the revival of a nuclear
weapons program in Iraq,' the Vice President asserted, '[w]e believe [Saddam]
has, in fact, reconstituted nuclear weapons' ( March 16, 2003)."
W's intention was to scare the red staters into believing the puny, sluggish twerp in front of the stage was the only one who could protect us from the undefined "those who were against us"--in this case a defenseless country sitting over a sea of oil.
The article continues "Administration officials' claims of a relationship
between Iraq and al Qaeda were even more outlandish. Before the war, the Central
Intelligence Agency assessed that 'Saddam has viewed Islamic extremists
operating inside Iraq as a threat,' that 'Saddam Hussein and Usama bin Laden are
far from being natural partners,' and that assessments about Iraqi links to al
Qaeda rested on 'a body of fragmented, conflicting reporting from sources of
Bin laden, the extremist Sunni cursed Hussein for being a secular
Baathist Sunni-consequentially he hated Hussein. That is historical fact. How
can anyone credibly say they were allies?
The article continues "The USA Today editorial board writes: "For this
and future administrations, the lesson is that White House officials need to
weigh and study all available intelligence, not seize on only what supports
their preconceived notions. They mustn't present ambiguity as certainty. They
mustn't launch pre-emptive attacks without bulletproof evidence. And never again
should they treat war as a marketing campaign, like selling a new brand of
McCain was against the military torturing detainees, but when W
introduced legislation allowing the CIA to torture McCain signed along with the
rest of the ghouls. Isn't that the accursed flip-flopping the GOP is always
accusing the Democrats of?
The article "ACLU Urges Congress to Investigate Role of Top State
Department Officials in Torture" at
describes how both Rice was involved and how big bro 43, as a ploy to scrape off
some ignorant red staters' votes admitted to being involved as the article
states "The American Civil Liberties Union today urged members of the House
Foreign Affairs Committee's Human Rights Subcommittee to use its hearing this
morning to start an investigation into the role of current top U.S. Department
of State officials in approving the use of torture on detainees. The Department
of Justice Inspector General Glenn Fine is scheduled to testify before the
subcommittee about the recently released Office of the Inspector General report
of the FBI's role in the interrogation of detainees held by the U.S. The
Inspector General's report is the first government report to tie Secretary of
State Condoleezza Rice to the high-level discussions on the use of torture, and
the first to provide a detailed account of information provided to State
Department Legal Adviser John Bellinger on the use of torture at Guantanamo Bay."
Rice's role was to make her fool "bubble boy" boss 43 feel that he wasn't
completely incompetent by stroking his ego, not performing her role.
The article continues " The subcommittee should use this hearing to connect the dots and determine whether the nation's top diplomats had a role in the development or
implementation of the Bush administration's torture program. The president recently
admitted that he knew the Rice-chaired National Security Council Principals
Committee met to discuss specific interrogation tactics for specific detainees.
And now we have the Inspector General reporting that then-National Security
Advisor Rice and her counsel Bellinger were receiving complaints from top
Justice Department officials about reports of abusive interrogations. Congress
needs to figure out what exactly happened, and determine whether the Secretary
of State or her counsel authorized the use of torture and whether either one
took any steps to try to stop torture."
How criminal has big bro 43 been? Consider that the Department of
Justice's Office of Professional Responsibility is investigating into the
Justice Department's role in allegations of selective prosecution relating to
the prosecutions of Don Siegelman ; John Yoo's torture memos; Monica Goodling's
possible firing of an attorney because she'd heard a rumor that he might be gay; officials who gave legal approval to waterboarding and other harsh interrogation techniques; the role of Department of Justice attorneys in the authorization and oversight of the warrantless electronic surveillance program and of course the probe into the firings of U.S. Attorneys.
No one thought that Mukasey could be as corrupt as W's hand-picked goon
Attorney General Gonzales. Well, they are typical GOP goons and with all of that
criminal behavior to investigate nothing is likely to happen with a Bush
appointed OPR that reports directly to a Bush appointed Attorney General. There
is a fatal breakdown in our democracy. No one ever imagined that any one
administration could be this corrupt.
McCain has his Vietnam War service to act as a shield whenever he shows his callous disregard for our troops stuck in Iraq. Actually no one, not even the war president, big bro 43, could be more coldhearted to our youth in the military than mini-me McCain.
The article "Parties Do Battle Over U.S. Forces' Future in Iraq" at
states "Congressional Democrats yesterday opened fire on comments from
Republicans-including presumptive GOP nominee John McCain-that equate the U.S.
military's future in Iraq to the presence of U.S. bases in Germany, Japan and
South Korea. The issue erupted after Sen. McCain (R-Ariz.) said in an interview
with NBC's "Today" show that the timetable for U.S. forces to come home from
Iraq is not of great concern as long as U.S. casualties in the Middle East fall
to levels comparable to those in allied countries where U.S. forces have been
stationed for decades without incident.
"That's not too important," McCain said, when asked by host Matt Lauer if
he could better estimate when U.S. forces would come home. "What's important is
the casualties in Iraq. Americans are in South Korea, Americans are in Japan, American troops are in Germany. That's all fine."
He is a veteran, not a chicken-hawk. How dare he condemn our youth to
death in an endless sectarian quagmire in a foreign land--a circumstance
identical to Vietnam? He knows better!
The article continues "The Bush administration is trying to hammer out
bilateral agreements governing the future status of U.S. forces in Iraq, to take
effect when the current U.N. mandate expires at the end of December. The two
accords-a status-of-forces agreement and a broader security "framework"-have
come under sharp criticism in Iraq because of administration proposals to retain
unilateral control over U.S. military operations as well as the ability to
detain Iraqi citizens while providing legal immunity for U.S. security
contractors. Iraqi politicians have also charged that the United States plans to
maintain up to 60 military bases there. Debate over the agreements has grown
heated in Baghdad and has drawn criticism in Congress, where many lawmakers have challenged the administration's contention that the accords do not require congressional approval. Democrats have said Bush is attempting to tie the hands of his successor on future Iraq policy."
The Democrats have two experienced veterans also.
"It's pretty clear their intentions are that we put in a basing system in
Iraq that parallels the Korea-Japan history," said Sen. James Webb (D-Va.), who
is pressing the administration to submit the agreements for Senate ratification.
"The difference is, Iraq is not Korea or Japan. . . . The history of every single outside occupation of Iraq over the last thousand years argues against that logic."
McCain knows he has another Democrat, one who was "Swift boated" who will
stand up for Obama. The article continues " "It is unbelievably out of touch and
inconsistent with the needs and concerns of Americans, particularly the families
of the troops out there. It is the most important thing in the world to them that they come home" Sen. John Kerry said.
How long is too long? How many lives will be wasted before we realize too
many have been? The time to go is now. The Iraqis don't want us there and we
won't be in charge of our soldiers. These wicked GOP goons always want to keep
our troops engaged in battles they can't win and W is trying to do this now.
W wants our troops there for as long as possible for a variety of reasons. The next president will fail in Iraq--every president will, thus assuaging the failure's conscience over dragging us into Iraq.
The article continues "In a letter to the U.N. Security Council, Iraqi Foreign Minister Hoshyar Zebari made it clear yesterday that his government remains committed to striking a deal that would provide a U.S. role in Iraq beyond this year. Although Iraqi
security forces have made strides, they remain "unable to assume full
responsibility for the maintenance of security."...
Last week, Kerry, Senate Foreign Relations Committee Chairman Joseph R. Biden Jr. (D-Del.) and Republican Sens. Richard G. Lugar (Ind.) and Chuck Hagel (Neb.) wrote their own letter, demanding that the administration share the text of the draft agreements and commit that the final draft be provided to the Foreign Relations Committee before it is concluded with the Iraqi government."
Why is the government in the fledging democracy consulted when that of
ours kept out of the loop? The article continues "There's a deep irony here,
which is that the discussion of the status-of-force agreement in Iraq deeply
involves the Iraqi parliament, and the discussion on the American side doesn't
give the American people the same kind of involvement," said former Navy
secretary Richard Danzig, an Obama national security adviser. The Iraqi
government has said it will submit any agreement to its own legislature for
The article "Iraqis Condemn American Demands" at
states " Encouraged by recent Iraqi military successes, government officials have said that the United States should agree to confine American troops to military bases unless the Iraqis ask for their assistance, with some saying Iraq might be better off without them.
"The Americans are making demands that would lead to the colonization of
Iraq," said Sami al-Askari, a senior Shiite politician on parliament's foreign
relations committee who is close to Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki.
"If we can't reach a fair agreement, many people think we should say,
'Goodbye, U.S. troops. We don't need you here anymore.' "
W wants "to maintain 58 long-term bases in Iraq." Why? We were to be
"greeted as liberators" and be out of there in months not years.
The article contains this opinion "In my point of view, it would just be a new occupation with an Iraqi signature," said Jalal al-Din al-Saghir, a senior lawmaker from the Supreme Council."
W has failed at everything he has undertaken in Iraq. Why give him a
longer chance to fail more?
The typical GOP goon wants a war to drag on forever because wars gets them
votes as they see themselves as the Daddy party. McCain has been allowed
extraordinary access to big bro 43 and all of these covered-up agreements, and
still he has been fumbling away as he tried to convince red staters that after W
goes only he can protect us!
Ignoring the all important fact that McCain doesn't care about how many of
our youths' lives are wasted in Iraq we can't forget that our military is
stretched too thin and our economy is being ruined by the cost of the war.
The article "Phil Gramm, McCain Co-Chair, Lobbied US On Mortgage Crisis
--While Advising Candidate On Economic Policy" at
shows how willingly mini-me McCain threw the 99% of us under the bus for the
benefit of the top 1%. Wasn't McCain allegedly a crusader against lobbyists? Is
with every other matter McCain can posture with the best of them, but for these
GOP shills for the top 1% policies fall apart for bucks.
McCain was a victim of torture. You'd think that if in no other arena in
that matter he would posses some moral fiber. The article "McCain and Obama
Split on Justices' Guantánamo Ruling" at
reminds us that mini-me McCain helped craft legislation dealing with Guantánamo
that Obama, as well as the US Supreme Court, said was legally wrong. Obama realizes that this symbol of unethical treatment of Islamic detainees can be used as a recruiting tool for al Qaeda.
