Introduction
The current lack of leadership at the top of this society and the resulting cataclysmic accident named "Deepwater Horizon" has us all pondering what is wrong with the current system. The following article is an attempt to answer that question.
Part One: The Next Step in Cosmic Androgyny
The universe is assembled incrementally. It has steps or levels and they assemble in a way that yields larger and larger wholes and holograms. Each level is whole in and of itself, a mirror of the universe, a mini-universe. And each is merely a piece of a larger whole. The orientals have a saying that encapsulates this idea "As above so below".
And as Yogananda tells us the universe is a dualistic thing. That being the case then the way things assemble is that at each level there is a new expression of a basic dualistic primal something.
And as Ken Wilber tells us evolution works by splitting the current topmost whole and later bringing that split together again after the two halves have become more whole in and of themselves and thus are capable of merging to make a new whole that is a progression and further development of all that has gone before.
OK then, the next question is ... what is the current split thing, that needs to be unified at a higher level, and that will give us the next synthesis and the progress we need to go further into cosmic evolution? That thing that is currently split and that needs to be fused is human culture.
Actually all this is the soul and its dualistic androgynous wholeness expressing externally at yet another level in creation. That being the case human culture will not exhibit a new androgynous wholeness until we as individuals are capable of a new wholeness within ourselves. For all creation is merely an outer expression of something within. The soul must progress before any cosmic step can be taken to express that soul-growth.
Another thing that is characteristic of all the split halves is that one is always Yin-feminine and one is always Yang-masculine, archetypally.
The current greatest whole on the planet is nationhood, and its characteristic cultures, and the next rung of the ladder is planethood, and the culture to enable this will have to be androgynous.
So those two things that need to be fused are an ancient lost matriarchy and a current ruling patriarchy. And internally, all humans, wether wearing a body that is male of female for this one lifetime, need to learn to act in a more androgynous way. It is OK for bodily things, like reproduction, to be only one sex or the other, but in many other facets of life, humans need to act more sexually liberated.
Although this is all very elementary it is nonetheless quite subconscious to the vast majority of the human race. That is because evolution is doing things in a new way this time. The Yin and Yang halves of physical/sexual evolution currently express in physical bodies. And the mating of those bodies ( giving for a brief time an androgynous physical union ) is not that hard as they are both present simultaneously in space. They are not separated by time. However the sexual expression of human culture and its two halves are separated at this moment by time, and this has been the case for ages. The ancient matriarchy existed long ago and the current patriarchy is adrift alone. How does one bring them together when the patriarchy has a stranglehold on power and when everyone is so thoroughly propaganadized by this patriarchy that they can not imagine things happening another way?
It can only happen if the patriarchy becomes so insufficient that it begins to lose its power. And that is exactly what is now happening. In every twenty five or so thousand year period and with the precession of the equinoxes the ages travel through some kind of dual expression. Some kind of motion through some kind of space gives to time a dual function of vascillating between high and low energy phases. It has something to do I think with getting close to and far from the Pleaides. The high energy times yield golden ages and Yogananda tells us that in such times women typically rule. Further evidence of this is just now surfacing as egyptologists are uncovering the fact of feminine leadership in ancient egyptian times.
