How could anyone vote for Trump? Some of us don't want to ask. "They're just stupid." I disagree. I think there's something there worth learning, and that empowerment in our common interests will come with understanding.
Last month, I read two books by Paul L Williams that synthesized history for me. The first, Operation Gladio, filled gaps in my knowledge of how evil became entrenched in our modern world. The second, The Killing of Uncle Sam, supplied a historical background for the characters I read about in the first. But while Gladio just left me with a sense of immense evil, Uncle Sam ends with explicit political prescriptions -- and they were not at all what I expected.
After WW II, a rogue branch of our CIA (Allen Dulles & James Angleton) recruited former Nazis as a "bulwark against communism" in Europe and South America. (Dulles had worked through the War to try to forge a separate peace with Hitler, because he thought the Soviet Union was the real enemy.) After the War, many countries were voting for socialist governments, so the role of Operation Gladio included assassinating leaders and arranging military coups. In order to influence public opinion against socialists, they staged hundreds of terror attacks and blamed them on socialist groups. Seed money for the operation was paid by Rockefellers, but the operation outgrew this funding, and Gladio arranged with the Mafia to revitalize a defunct market for heroin in America's inner cities. Our CIA supplied the drugs, originally through Saigon (which led to the Vietnam war), and later through Afghanistan (America's current war). Many billions in drug money had to be laundered each year into CIA accounts, and this job was given to the Vatican Bank, which is unaudited and responsible only to the Pope. Every Pope beginning with Paul VI has been in on this, and their elevations to Popehood were arranged with CIA money. Gladio assassinated one Pope who looked like he was going to blow the whistle ( John-Paul I ) and shot another ( John-Paul II ) though he survived. We know something of Benedict's dark history as a Hitler Youth ; but yes, even Francis has a criminal past, linked to the atrocities of Juan Peron in Argentina. To this day,the "war on drugs" proceeds just far enough to keep drug prices high, but whenever a kingpin is caught in the dragnet, his trial is called off for "national security" reasons.
Uncle Sam :
The 19th Century ended with a handful of men controlling vast amounts of wealth. They were Rothschilds, Rockefellers, Carnegies and Morgans, but Williams links them all to the ideology of Cecil Rhodes, who thought it was the destiny of Anglo-Saxon people in England and the Americas to dominate the world. The Pilgrim Society in London, the Council for Foreign Relations (CFR) in the US, and international brotherhood of Freemasons all became training grounds for leaders of a New World Order (Yes, this term that we associate with Dick Cheney and Donald Rumsfeld actually originated with Woodrow Wilson and the League of Nations.) Control of the world's money supply through the Federal Reserve and parallel banks in other nations was part of their plan, and every major war since 1914 has been engineered to serve their interests. They almost overthrew American Constitutional government in a military coup against FDR in 1934. Through control of the media, as well as their charities, scholarships, and foundations, these same tycoons have had a long-term influence on education and on American culture, assuring docility and irrational compliance with a system that concentrates more and more power in the hands of a tiny minority. At the same time, their insiders have occupied the American presidency time and again, and every Secretary of State since WW II has been a member of the (private, anti-democratic, and very opinionated) CFR.
The Surprise :
The second book is co-authored by Rodney Howard-Browne, a fundamentalist preacher. In it, the bankers are sometimes accused of "socialism", and all forms of trans-nationalism are lumped together and decried. The authors prescribe for America so many things I can relate to, and so many that I can't fathom. In the former category:
- Audit the Fed
- Close American military bases abroad
- End America's regime-change wars around the world
- Jail the bankers
- Expose the CIA and banker connections to 9/11
In the latter category:
- Return Christian values to America
- End same-sex marriage
- Re-criminalize abortion
- Roll back diversity education
- Expel "illegal immigrants" and seal America's borders
immigration to steer America back toward Anglo-Saxon racial purity
welfare and entitlement programs
I don't know how many of the values in this second book are Williams's and how many are Howard-Browne's; but I have heard Williams in a Youtube interview endorsing Trump.
Where do they get the claim that Rockefeller and Carnegie were socialists?
To me, "socialism" means democratic control of the workplace and correcting the lopsided distribution of wealth. To Howard-Browne, "socialism" means centralized control of the economy, whether by Stalin or by international banksters.
Why are they so threatened by international free trade?
