Time and again, Trump tweets without thinking.

On Thursday, he claimed that US November 3 elections "will be the most inaccurate & fraudulent"in history (sic)," adding:

"Delay the Election until people can properly, securely and safely vote (sic)???"

Trump objects to mail-in voting other than by absentee ballots.

No evidence suggests this method would be "inaccurate & fraudulent."

It would likely be more reliable than easily manipulated corporate electronic voting machines.

In response to Trump's tweet, ACLU Voting Rights Project director Dale Ho said the following:

"This is America (True). We are a democracy (False), not a dictatorship" - False based on US police state rule that's heading toward full-blown tyranny if abandonment of the rule of law discards it altogether ahead.

Ho explained that "(t)he Constitution empowers Congress to set the date of the election, and Congress set that date for November."

"Nothing President Trump says, does, or tweets can change that fact."

By law, US federal elections occur on the first Tuesday after the first Monday in November - every two years for House and one-third of Senate members, every four years for president.

Trump's term expires on January 20, 2021. Nothing he says or does can change it legally.

Weeks earlier, he failed to publicly agree to accept November election results when asked, on Fox News Sunday, saying:

"I have to see. Look"I have to see"I'm not going to just say yes. I'm not going to say no," adding:

DONALD J. TRUMP allowed a fellow Republican to be hackmailed. Shame, shame, shame. Who to blame?

Since Bush has openly declared he won't support Trump, I doubt he'll bother to blame anyone. He has far more pressing issues to assign blame to.

Vote harvesting is legal at least in the country's largest populated states, California which gave HRC the plurality over Trump. When you combine mail-in (no id of any sort required) plus third party harvesting or bundling, I think fraud can be a real issue. If only the mail service is involved than there may not be a significant issue, but harvesting does allow for 3rd party tampering. The poor and elderly could be the greatest victims of disenfranchisement. While Mr. Lendman is a reputable journalist, imo, there's always some concern about using Trump as why the opposite of what he says must be right (including his concern about mail in).

It's been reiterated over and over again, by MSM and others, Democrats and Republicans. that the POTUS has no authority to delay or cancel the elections. What he can do is sew FUD (fear, uncertainty and doubt) in the election results, contest them for as long as he is able, and encourage civil unrest by his gun toting disciples. That is clearly the real intent. It's almost guaranteed to get uglier still.

That's your opinion, right? The Internet is full of anti-Trump statements, some true, some false, but virtually all negative. And yet, Trump hasn't really done as much damage to the state of war and neoliberal order than any other president.

If you have something more (evidence of a plot) than some wild notion that Trump will some how sow mayhem please provide.

I've never seen anyone, NO ONE, so reviled in all my 70+ years, due largely to the corporate media deriding everything and anything he says. Blaming him for pretty much anything that happens, claiming he's a monster, a fascist and yet, no one can mention ONE DAMN THING that he's done that differs from his predecessors.
