NBA basketball protest and cancellation of playoff games on Wednesday August 26, 2020 over police shooting of Jacob Blake on Monday August 24, 2020.

What the American professional athletes in basketball, baseball, football and hockey have done over the police shooting of Jacob Blake 7 times in the back in Kenosha, Wisconsin is remarkable. With the shutdown of their play on Wednesday they got people in the nation to notice. However some baseball teams resumed play last night and all are scheduled to resume play today. The NBA basketball tournament games are postponed through today but scheduled to resume on Saturday. The same for NHL hockey. All NFL football preseason games have been cancelled with all regular season games scheduled to begin on September 10. So let's call it a mixed bag of play stoppages.
