Rep. Michele Bachmann is a NeoCon Crazy Congressperson from Minnesota:
Her views are extreme but unfortunately accepted by other irrational Americans.
She wants to wean Americans off
Social Security and Medicare but, like nearly every US Congressperson, she
doesn't want to wean Israel
off the billions in dollars of support we furnish it yearly.
In fact, a conservative estimate says that we have given Israel (a country of about 7 million people) nearly 114 billion dollars of direct aid since that country's inception. That figure is likely not the correct one since we give Israel a lot more than gets reported.
"....I am convinced in my heart and in my mind that if the United States fails to stand with Israel, that is the end of the United States . . . [W]e have to show that we are inextricably entwined, that as a nation we have been blessed because of our relationship with Israel, and if we reject Israel, then there is a curse that comes into play. And my husband and I are both Christians, and we believe very strongly the verse from Genesis [Genesis 12:3], we believe very strongly that nations also receive blessings as they bless Israel. It is a strong and beautiful principle.
Right now in my own private Bible time, I am working through Isaiah . . . and there is continually a coming back to what God gave to Israel initially, which was the Torah and the Ten Commandments...."
Disturbingly most people in America think this 'God's Chosen' theory is pretty well reasoned and scientific.
Because their Bible tells them so.
But I don't think God has been keeping his part of the bargain.
We have been giving Israel all of this money and supporting them with various wars but it doesn't look so good over here in America.
So, I think God has gone back on the deal.
America is already destroyed!
