I have lived with the dream of all of this
My dream does not end with me waking up
All my dreams shift this way but never end
All of this is not my dream
It is your dream too
And the animals and plants are also dreaming
We dream together
I keep trying to wake up to my dreams.
I make coffee and I drink it slowly

I walk outside and come back in
I sit with my hands resting in my lap
I recall something funny that you said
But I am not laughing or even smiling
Nothing is funny to me these days

The truth is I am sitting in a cafe'
The young man has left the door wide open
I am beginning to feel cold
He is playing music that I don't like
I am wearing earplugs of wadded tissue
I am leaving the cafe' in 5 minutes
