The people of Iran are giving their all, while the rest of the world is doing virtually nothing to resolve this situation. Inaction by the world nations to "quickly" support Democracy and the People of Iran has also provided an opportunity for the "Dictatorship Government" of Iran to remain in power.
It is appalling that the majority of our world leaders do not even have the guts to call for an emergency meeting at the UN Security Council to at least condemn the killings of innocent unarmed citizens in Iran and also to send UN observers to monitor the situation to determine if any international laws have been violated.
In addition, NATO should have taken similar peaceful resolution actions to demonstrate their support and solidarity for the People of Iran who are the victims and not the perpetrators in the present civil unrest. All world leaders and organizations should demonstrate that tyranny, repression, or the slaughter of innocent unarmed civilians within any Nation will not be tolerated. People should be treated as human beings and not like wild animals that can be killed at will by world leaders.
Many Americans are also appalled that the UN or NATO did not recommend that the Red Cross be sent to Iran to provide aid to Iranian civilian victims and also to monitor the treatment of any civilian prisoners. The Red Cross could accomplish these tasks, as they have done in the past. In addition, the UN or NATO could have also recommended that Doctors Without Borders provide immediate medical services for the injured Iranian people, especially since the Iran Gestapo-Style Force were reported arresting innocent Iranian citizens at various hospital and also at Iran University locations, where many of the wounded demonstrators were seeking refuge.
In short, our world leaders or organizations could have demonstrated to the rest of the world that they truly cared by taking more decisive action.
