While it feels like a dark time for our world, in reality, there is a spiritual consciousness alive in the world and in the heavens that tells us that this is all an initiation, a test to see if we can break down the walls of patriarchal rational thinking and experience the truth of Eternity. An initiation into a future Possible Human who is whole and awake. Can we learn the lessons of the Piscean Age and leave them behind so we can truly step into a more enlightened Aquarian Age?
We need to die to be reborn again.
The dark times are due to the breakdown of the cultural institutions that no longer serve us, the exposure of the hypocrisy of so many of our leaders, and the many real crises facing the world. We could look with fear and trembling (which is what many politicians are pushing) on this breakdown, or we could look for meaning and purpose in it. And that meaning is apparent when we look to the heavens for our cosmic instructions, just as so many of our ancestors did.
We are in the midst of a revolution which began in the 60s and is continuing now, as all the issues we awakened to in the 60s are returning to our collective consciousness with a vengeance. It's time we rooted out the hypocrisy, greed, inequality, violence and oppression that is part of our political and social structures. It's time to take up our responsibilities in the world and create the kind of society we keep saying we want. The 7 Uranus/Pluto squares of 2012-2015 tell that story. It's time to make sure that the new ideas planted in the 60s start to take hold in the 21 st century.
As Above, So Below. The heavens show us the picture of the energies at play in our world. The heavens tell us a story of revolution and evolution at a crossroads. Isn't that where we find ourselves? As Within, So Without. Those same energies are re-shaping us, shaking loose our outer shells so our inner being can blossom. Revolution & Evolution.
So the seed of a new Collective Story we planted at the Aquarius New Moon and Chinese New Year on February 8 th wants to blossom in our awareness this Pisces/Virgo Full Moon. What is our unique destiny and purpose? How can we contribute to a new society that is built on fairness, equality, unity and love? How can we crack the patriarchal shell which binds us and blossom into the soulful life we were meant to live?
Virgo Full Moon 2016
A Full Moon brings something to our awareness--a thought, a feeling, a vision. This Pisces/Virgo Full Moon offers us the awareness of how our unique connection to Spirit wants to manifest in our lives.
Pisces symbolizes the Waters of Life, the original waters that gave birth to life here on Earth as well as the deep, collective emotional waters that give birth to each of us in every age of the world. So it is fitting that as we prepare ourselves to fully incarnate the lessons of the Piscean Age so we can step freely into the Aquarian Age, Neptune, the ruler of Pisces, is once again in his home waters.
The sign of Pisces symbolizes a return to the womb of Spirit, to the waters of the Collective Unconscious, the place of origins, to consciously open ourselves to Spirit. Pisces' symbol, two fish swimming in opposing directions, shows us the great initiation of Pisces: to develop our Christ Consciousness, the awakening of the Soul to its spiritual essence, or to remain in the illusion of separateness, which leads to a sense of powerlessness, victimization, suffering, unworthiness as well as materialism, cruelty and domination. Which way will we turn?
Pisces is the home of our collective Heart--the heart that cries out for love, justice, creativity, fun, magic, union with the Divine. The Heart that looks for meaning, for connection, for Wisdom about Life. Or the heart of darkness, of despair, of addiction. Once again, the choice is ours.
The planet Neptune is the ruler of Pisces, and he's now at home in his watery realms. Each planet symbolizes an archetypal power, and Neptune symbolizes a multi-dimensional reality that is accessed through the Creative Imagination.
W hy do we relegate our imagination to childhood? Yes, children live in the imagination--that's how they learn and grow. Why have we cut ourselves off from this creative source of our being? Christ said we have to become like little children to enter the Kingdom of Heaven . I believe he meant we have to rely on our imagination to access Spirit.
Albert Einstein said: "Imagination is more important than knowledge."
