First of all I want to explain the word Taliban. Actually Talib is a Pashto language word means student. Taliban is the plural of Taliban. Word Taliban is being used for all those students, who are acquiring religious education. Actually this word is being misused by the media in Pakistan. Those who are fighting against US and Pakistani forces are not Taliban. Actually they are the hardcore fighters used to wage war in Kashmir and Afghanistan before the arrival of US forces. During the Soviet occupation of Afghanistan the United States has provided weapons for these people. Now they are the real problem. I think those who favouring talks with these people are actually the enemies of whole world. These people do not know the meaning of dialogue. They know the language of guns as they have learnt this language.

Taliban are moderate people. They are the students. Majority of them have been acquiring education. The Pakistani establishment misused this word of Taliban. If Barack Obama is favouring talks with the moderate Taliban he is doing the right thing as this is the only solution to the problem of terrorism. I think Obama can also become the hero of Taliban as during last eight years they have suffered a lot. There was a time when Taliban were the most respected people of Pakistan, but now they are the most hated people in the same country. I think this is not the fault of Taliban. Actually the establishment of Pakistan has played a dirtry game.

Just consider me a moderate Talib for moment. I think we can hold talks. We can live in this world without fighting each others. I am also the father of three Taliban. I have already explained that word Talib is being used for student. This is purely a Pashto language word.

According to moderate Taliban leader, the United States instead of involving the Pakistan or Afghanistan government should establish direct contact with Taliban. I think the OpEdNew is the best forum for holding talks. I shall be establishing contacts with moderat Taliban for knowing their point of view and then we will ask the US administration to show its plan for the region. I think this forum can play the role of mediator.

I shall be needing some friends for initiating dialogue between the Taliban and US administration. I think we can play a positive role. Thank you very much Barack Obama for accepting the moderate Taliban. I think this is the right approach. This is the first step towards big task.

The End
