Lets turn our focus from the acutely controversial issue of whether the unborn fetus is a living person at conception, 20 weeks after conception, or until the baby is delivered from the mothers womb.  Lets focus on individual choices.  According to most Christian faiths God is omniscient and knows the outcome of our decisions before we even make them.  So, why do we have to come to earth to be put through the test of making decisions between choosing right and wrong which will eventually lead us to heaven or hell?  The answer I received on more than one occasion was: because ultimately it is our choice, and it is up to us to make those tough decisions.  Is it not the same for an individual to decide on her own as to whether or not she wants to keep her unborn fetus?  Why should we make legislation forcing religious practices and beliefs on women who are fully capable of making their own decisions?

According to UNICEF, over 9.2 million infants under the age of five died in 2007.  Why not shift our efforts to taking care of the babies who have already come out of the womb and are currently suffering from illness and starvation in serious jeopardy of losing their lives.  Its a shame how you value the lives of the unborn fetuses more than you do the lives of the already existing ones.  Or maybe this is your inherently annoying religious propensity to stick your nose so far up your neighbors ass, so you can tell him exactly where you think hes going to go in the next life.

Your judgmental and scornful disdain has gone on long enough.  Weve had enough of your judging, warning, preaching, and most of all your inability to choose right from wrong all the while telling others how to make their own choices.  Your fear and discrimination are betrayed by your intense promulgations to denounce, attack, and even stigmatize a leader, even to go so far as to brand him a terrorist, for allowing capable women to do what God has put them here on earth to do; make a choice.  Or maybe they arent?
