The best thing about the Holidays and the reason these celebrations occur in the dark Fall and Winter in the first place is that in the darkness there is really a necessity to be calm, quiet, and to celebrate the long nights, to go inward. The season requires we minimize activity due to the darkness and cold and thus we began celebrating together and giving children spiritual gifts and meditative lessons.

These ideas sprouted a long time ago before centuries of hyper-perversion and hyper-institutionalization of the celebrations until the reasons for celebrations were all but lost, covered up by commercialization and cultural initiation.

Coming together and teaching the youth of metaphysics, philosophy, spirituality and meditation were huge parts of the Fall and Winter in total, but also in the notable celebrations themselves through the stories and mythology which accompanies the holidays. It used to be we taught children the magic of spirituality and meditation through our cultural, holiday celebrations. Now, especially with The Santa Clause Story, a distortion story attached to the already distorted Christmas story, we have taught people about commercialization, materialism and we are left in a holy daze rather than feeling connected via the magic of the commercialized spirituality boxed up in religion and adopted by culture at large.

Because I even question this process, some people, instead of considering the ill effects of the Holiday Hazing that is The Santa Clause story, would prefer to inform me that their celebration methods were pure and positive and my own must have been especially horrible to come up with the perspective that Santa Clause is negative cultural story. This is sad indicator of the inability to consider the collective outside of the periphery of individual experience and further inability to pierce the veil beyond their own biased experience, biased through the emotional attachment and regard when one goes through cultural initiation at such an impressionable young age. Despite the New Age hogwash that you may have heard observing negativity does not necessarily mean you are negative, you may in fact be making observations.

And the above is the type of nuanced metaphysics and philosophy that would have been and could be imparted to the youth and anyone open to dialogue in the quiet during gatherings, these folks are fewer and farther between, in the partisan, partial atmosphere. Dialogue is belittled in the world. We allow institutions to tell the story.

How does The Santa Clause Story, attached to Christmas influence us? For one the conversation has shifted from Why to What. Meditation and spirituality are about pursuing why. The commercialized holidays are about What.

Instead of now selling you something that will make your teeth shine in the sparkling lights of The Christmas Tree, nor offer a black Friday deal. I am here now to offer two ebooks for free! Two free Ebooks for the youth and the youthful are yours for the next five days, 11/29/19 through 12/3. A Holiday Hazing, Santa Clause Syndrome is a hilarious satirical exploration of the history of Christmas and the psychological effects of The Santa story. Secondly, Meditation and Geometry for The Youth is also a free Ebook.

With these two books you will find new concepts to explore the collective consciousness through comprehension of Holidays and specifically The Santa Story, and new forms of contemplative consideration to be mindful of and communicate your inner world. Meditation and Geometry For The Youth provides lessons in geometry and meditation to comprehend the outer world and our inner world. No matter your age or meditation experience Meditation and Geometry for The Youth is a wonderful for groups to begin seeing and sharing inner experiences and development.
