Ralph Nader, Independent candidate for president, will be on NBC Nightly News with Brian Williams tonight. The show, to air at 6:30 pm ET, will temporarily put a halt to the media blackout of Ralph Nader.

For less than a half hour, Americans will have an opportunity to here from a candidate they could choose to vote for but who has been kept out of the public sphere by the mainstream media.

The Nader/Gonzalez campaign has been working vigorously to get onto the main networks. Up to this point, the campaign had only made it onto cable news shows on MSNBC, CNN, Fox News, and then C-SPAN

Actually, Nader appeared on Jim Lehrer's NewsHour on Tuesday, Oct. 14th. That was a huge victory for the campaign.

The campaign also just earned an appearance on BBC's version of Nightline. The American version of Nightline was called and asked to let Nader go on the show but refused saying that they tend to cover candidate who have a chance of winning.

The Nader/Gonzalez campaign has raised $250,000 for an October Surprise Fund which will expose the Bailout Boys (Obama, McCain) through radio ads which will air in battleground states from Oct. 21st to Election Day.

The campaign was turning to the "theater of the absurd" to get attention. But, this isn't the case anymore. As Election Day closes in, Ralph Nader is going to be front and center.

Three million dollars has been raised in this historic campaign, which is on 45 state ballots. Polling 5 percent, the campaign is in a position to significantly challenge this two-party system.

As the campaign says, "Onward to November."
