What are the smaller election takeaways you've noticed that the MSM, which has pretty much only focused on KY and VA, has ignored?
Okay, so, Dems won both legislative bodies in Virginia and the Kentucky governor's race, though Republicans cleaned house for most of the other Kentucky elections.
And in NYC, a question was approved giving New Yorkers ranked choice voting. Every US election should allow ranked choice voting, so people can vote for their favorite candidate as well as their lesser of two evils candidates.
But there's a lot more going on. Please add your observations in the comments.
Here in Pennsylvania, in Bucks County, where I live, the Democrats almost ran the gauntlet, winning bigger then they have in over 30 years-- taking most statewide elective offices, particularly the control of the county. The same thing happened in adjacent Delaware County and nearby Lehigh county. Bucks county is a bellwether district that often predicts national elections. So the result yesterday was huge.
I've been saying, for over a month, that the Republicans will remove Trump because they will see that if he is in the White House and on the ballot, will lead to a Republican disaster, even an apocalypse in 2020, that the GOP will see, through internal polling that they will lose not only the House and Senate and White House, but also down ticket, state level races-- legislative body control, governorships and a lot more. That's exactly what happened in Virginia and Pennsylvania. So I see yesterday as supporting my prediction and making it more likely to happen.
What are you seeing and what conclusions are you reaching?
