Here are the results from the OEN Poll :
Obama will stay the same 28% from 36 votes
Obama will move to the right 49% from 63 votes
Not sure 9% from 11 votes
Obama will move to the left 15% from 19 votes
And here are the results from the dailykos poll :
he'll move left 33% 70 votes
he'll move right 33% 68 votes
he'll stay the same 31% 65 votes
not sure 1% 3 votes
At OEN, 15% think he'll move to the left. At Dailykos, 33% think he'll move to the left. Either way, that leaves 64% at Dailykos and 77% at OEN thinking he'll stay the same or get worse. That's not very hopeful. I'm thinking that those who still think he'll move to the left are in denial.
I know. I was in denial when the election was held. I had hope he'd show a progressive side. We've had enough reality, enough DATA to make a realistic conclusion. Expecting Obama to move to the left if he wins a second term is just not realistic.
If you're going to vote for him, expect him to stay like he is or move further to the right, as a plurality of OEN readers think.
Or... let's get that conversation about primarying Obama going. The Republicans don't have a candidate yet. A primary would be healthy and would probably force Obama further left, at least promise-wise.
